Excellent Stay in the Chattanooga Area

We were in the area to pick up a new puppy from a breeder and stayed here, not wanting to be in the touristy areas of Chattanooga as that's not why we were there. The area around the motel is built up and at first glance you might miss it nestled between an indoor gun range (a major plus for me) and a strip mall. Inside, you find that this Holiday Inn Express is very well kept and up to date. The free breakfast was hot, fresh, and plentiful, and there are plenty of options for lunch and dinner nearby from fast food to nicer restaurants around the Northgate Mall or on the highway north of the Hixson intersection. The room was clean and roomy, and everything was just as it should be. Air conditioner kept the temperature in the room just like we wanted it. All staff members were very friendly. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely consider staying here again.
Do not stay here. Dirty, loud, uncomfortable.

I stayed in a two queen suite.
The beds are sunken in the middle. I rolled into the center all night and it was horribly uncomfortable.
Carpets are stained and filthy. Tile floor in the entry and bathroom were not swept or mopped.
The window shade is shredded and let's light in.
At 4:30 AM guests were in the hall screaming at each other.
I have stayed at Holiday Inns for decades, both in the US and abroad. This is the worst one, yet most expensive I have stayed in.

Not clean… things broken. Husband cut his hand trying to open broken shade in one room (we had 2). Toilet seat loose. Dried blood on bathroom floor. “Heated pool” ice cold and in disrepair. Hot tub completely out of service… and obviously had been for some time. Old towels… couldn’t get extra from housekeeping… had to go ask front desk. Housekeeping told husband they don’t have enough towels, so they have to wash them and return them to same rooms. Totally understaffed… front desk staff trying to work desk, do laundry, help cook food… ridiculous! I could go on, but I’m trying to block it from my memory.
When I tried to rate it on IHG website, they refused to post it, stating it contained “legally sensitive content.” No wonder they have four stars! Every other guest I spoke to stated that they were appalled at conditions.
Wanting to stay outside the Downtown area was a great choice

The hotel was easy to find and near a major shopping area north of Downtown Chattanooga in the surburb of Hixson. Easy highway access. The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were sanitized and well appointed for this hotel and the rates were excellent. A hot breakfast had something for everyone. Southern style: Coffee and Juices, bacon and sausages, hot freshly made omelets, and of course gravy and biscuits, All you care to eat.
This is a great hotel and recommend it very much,
NO HOT TUB breakfast suck

False Advertising. I was mislead into purchasing this room, I was on the road looking for a hotel with a hot tub. I found this place and ask the Clerk do you have a working hot tub she said YES> I check in 30 mins later I go to the hot tub and find it BROKEN!! I ask to moved to another hotel with the interContinental Hotels Group plc. She could not help me or find another hotel near by that has a Hot tub. I wanted to check out but could not drive be I already had some wine, as I was walking to the hot tub to relax. I am very upset In advertising, there's a big difference between pushing the truth and making false claims. she made a false claim to me and then took my money. I drove 30 min out my way to come here for one reason the hot tub!! they advertised the hot tub and CLAIM at the front desk of the hot tub are deceptive and violate the FTC Act prohibition against unfair or deceptive acts or practices. Here my thing when I asked for a reasonable accommodation she told me the manager reach out to me .he never did! I am asking for the hotel to due the right thing by refunding my stay and Mailing me a check and giving me a free night STAY for a next time at any IHG hotel. I am going to CC this to IHG GROUP AS WEll
