Hotel, room, and grounds were clean. Easy/quick check in. Several restaurants near by. Comfortable bed and cold A/C. I appreciated the small snack/convenience area by the desk. Unfortunately, there was no coffee made when we left at 5:30 am, but I'd definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend: • The front desk staff, Holly, was great with check-in. She was attentive in cleaning up the lobby area and pantry area after a large group of guests left. She provided accurate info to Shrnucks’ supermarket, wrote down the address legibly. She handed me keys with my room number and password closed to guard my privacy. She’s always smiling, great customer service. • Love the way they put three big shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in dispenser. And provided a big soap bar and a bigger than average size hand/body lotion bottle. • Easy parking, convenient location. • Electric outlet everywhere in the room and in easy and convenient locations. • In the lobby pantry, plenty of tea and coffee bags, cups, utensil, napkins available. They use recycle paper cups. • The snack/mini market next to the front desk was well organized and fully stocked. • Excellent hot water • Although it’s next to a major highway, the soundproof was good, that provides quietness and great sleeping quality. • Breakfast was full of variety in both hot and cold foods, you name it, they have it. • Like how they place utensils in different places within the pantry, for convenience. Minor issues: • A very small hair found on the pillow close to the headboard on the side near the bathroom. • For breakfast, would be great to place tongs on the plate. This hotel perhaps is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time in meeting and exceeding expectations.

The room was clean, comfortable and adequate size. It seemed somewhat updated. Quick and easy check-in and check-out procedures. The free breakfast was as expected and served by staff, not buffet or help yourself. No complaints. Would recommend.

Very disappointing for a Holiday Inn

We would not stay at this Holiday Inn ever again. We were greeted by a receptionist not wearing a mask. She said that she couldn't due to medical reasons but she could have worn a shield. The room was not very clean. There was a stink bug crawling on the couch and it is early February, when we moved a cube footstool from its place there was a pen cap under the shelf by the bed which indicates that it had not been vacuumed, and there was a hair on the front of the toilet. The sound and picture on the RCA television was terrible. The breakfast choices were not very good and they did not have any breakfast sandwiches left, no oranges, and the bananas were very mushy. The pillows were very uncomfortable and so was the couch. Overall, not a good king suite. The location was good and the price was similar to Hampton Inn and Courtyard.

Smoker room

Stayed at proper past week. Enjoyed my stay so booked again. This stay shortly after unpacking smell of cigarettes from ventilation system started pouring in. Called desk to report smoking guest. Smoking diminished some. Hoped to be able to rest in room. Neighbor returned turned their TV up loud. And cigarette smell poured into room. Called desk again. Only solution they had was to swap rooms. I checked out only available room. It had heavy perfume smell. Only other option was to go to another hotel. I decided to accept the room swap. After staying here twice I notice front desk staff doesn’t stay at front desk. Don’t know where they are. Never seen this before at any hotel.
