Room was not properly cleaned. Toilet ran and almost got plugged. Coffee supplies not refreshed Wanted to make comments to front staff but they were nowhere to be found. Breakfast was adequate Air conditioning in room was fairly quiet

I booked a room with two double beds on Mar 18 2022 via Expedia. when I arrived the Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Chili Rochester Airport, 3258 Chili Ave, Chili, NY 14624-5402 around 5:10pm, I got a room. However, I only got a room with one double bed. The Motel stuff told me that they sold out rooms with two beds. I booked a room with two double bed on Mar 18 2022 via Expedia. Just arrived the Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Chili Rochester Airport, 3258 Chili Ave, Chili, NY 14624-5402 half hour ago and got a room. However, I only got a room with one double bed. The Motel stuff told me that they sold out room with two beds. I asked if they can give me a bigger bed like Queen instead of Double, the Motel stuff said they do not have neither. However, the motel website shows they have one queen bed available on 6:12pm Mar 18 2022. I was asking if there is any discount as they could not give me the one I booked with 2 beds, they said they cannot give me any discount since I booked via Expedia. They asked me to contact Expedia. I could not get hold of Expedia (only virtual chatbox from Expedia is available. I asked if they can give me a bigger bed like Queen instead of Double, the Motel stuff said they do not have neither. However, the motel website shows they have one queen bed available on 6:12pm Mar 18 2022. Not sure who is cheating - the Motel or Expedia. Anyways, very bad experienced. Feel like being cheated. Unprofessional, unclean and unfortunate

If you want to deal with staff that don't care and smelly rooms than this place is perfect for you. The building itself is not bad and if you get a clean room than it is passable and their were 2 staff members in particular that were outstanding! But the pleasantries end there because of the rest of the staff (cleaning staff included). If this location were to train their staff better or just get new staff then it could be a really great hotel. I would pay the extra few dollars and stay somewhere more pleasant where the atmosphere isn't "we don't care" if I had a "do-over".

I stayed overnight when I brought some furniture to my relatives who live nearby. They have cats, and I'm allergic, so I can't stay with them. This hotel was close to my relatives, close to a main road, and close to all kinds of shopping. It was snowing, and they shoveled the walkways and cleared the parking lot very promptly. The room was comfortable and immaculate. I would stay there again.

This hotel used to be a hidden gem. No frills just a relatively modern, clean, budget friendly hotel. This visit the hotel is starting to show age. Stains on the bedsheets, carpet was very soiled, the bed was rock hard, small thin pillows, the blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work, and the microwave near the breakfast area was filthy. I have 2 stars as the check in check out process was easy and the bathroom looked like it had been cleaned.
