I’m originally from Cleveland so I frequently fly home to visit my family. This hotel has a perfect location, right off the interstate at an exit that is central to the best parts of Cleveland. I stayed in room 414, standard king room. The room itself was very large and the bed was honestly one of the best hotel mattresses that I’ve ever slept on. Unfortunately the bathroom is poorly designed: door wouldn’t even shut completely, exit one side of the shower and you step right up to the toilet, in order to exit other side of shower, the bathroom door must be closed because there is no standing room. WAY TOO TINY! I stayed 2 nights and housekeeping did not come to clean my room. When I asked the front desk why I didn’t not receive this standard service, I was told housekeeping could not enter even an empty room due to Covid. Ok…fine…blame Covid. But why do you have signs posted all over the hotel that vaccinated people do not even have to wear masks? It’s already been proven that you can still contract and spread Covid after vaccination. So I believe you should be all or nothing. Either be a hotel with true Covid precautions: everyone wear masks in public areas of the hotel or give us back the decency of receiving housekeeping while we are out of the room for the day. I normally stay at La Quinta next door but they were all booked for the dates I needed. Clearly shows which hotel is better. I won’t be back to this Holiday Inn.
Great place to stay. Staff is wonderful. Clean and comfortable with a small food court.

Wonderful place to stay. Upgraded. Clean. Comfortable. Staff is great, especially Cris, Melissa, and Cricket. They have a small food court with anything you would need and are very reasonably priced. Kudos to Holiday Inn. Haven’t stayed in one in a decade. Will definitely stay here again and look for other Holiday Inns in the future.
Nice hotel but dirty floors

My family with a young child stayed here on a trip to Chattanooga. We booked the Holiday Inn because typically they are exceptional and this one had an 8.1 rating on Tripadvisor.￼ We checked in about 5 PM and got to the room and it seemed very nice and clean. The beds were super soft and comfortable. Our little girl was young so we had to get her to bed around 8 PM.
The people next-door to us and the people above us we’re having a party. There was yelling and banging on the walls and loud noises coming from those rooms for probably more than two hours. I tried to call the front desk but there were only one or two people I believe working that night. So I finally walked down to the front desk and told the gentleman at the front desk what was going on. He called the rooms and they hung up on him and then he went up there and ask them to quiet him down and thankfully they did quiet and down.￼ ￼
——- The floors and walls in this hotel are extremely thin we had a loud sound machine and could hear everything people were doing all around us.￼
Another issue was the floors were absolutely filthy in our room and we didn’t realize it until after we got our showers. Our daughter got out of her bath and was running around the hotel room with no shoes on and within a matter of 5 to 10 minutes her feet were filthy. We put her back in the bathtub and scrub her feet off and they were absolutely nasty.￼
——We went back down to the front desk to let them know how nasty the floors￼ were. There was a different lady and younger man working the front desk and after I told them they seem to not really care about the fact that I was complaining about the floors being nasty. The lady said she would go and just check it out later to see if she needed to put a work order in to have the floors clean. So apparently the fact that I told her that our floors were absolutely felt they didn’t really mean anything and she was going to have somebody investigate it anyway and not take her word for it. I had expected a better apology of some sorts but basically didn’t really even say we’re so sorry or anything they just acknowledged￼ what I said and went back to working at their desk.
—- This seems like a very nice hotel. It used to be a Wyndham in￼n and I wonder if maybe it was built a little cheaper than the holiday inn’s are.￼ The man at the front desk that we worked with originally was super nice and helpful but the people that we worked with as we checked out we’re not. I think if they did a thorough job cleaning the hotel and did a little better on customer service they would be a top rated hotel.￼
An Oasis of relaxation after long drive...

Finally a hotel that offered a small restaurant and bar. After driving all day the last thing I want to do is get back in the car to look for food and drink. This is the only full service hotel in Cleveland area. The staff was outgoing and helpful. They provided us with a room that was convenient and easy to care for our dog too. I’ll make a note to stay there again in the future
Bed Bug Warning!! There’s never just one.

My husband and I stopped here overnight to rest up before finishing our very long trip home the next day. We got in around 2:30am, the staff was very nice and everything looked clean, and well kept. We got to our room and I checked to make sure it was clean, checked the beds for bugs and everything as I always do. It was pleasantly clean, even the bathroom.
My husband fell asleep before me, I was laying on my side looking at my phone in the dark (thank goodness I was, because the light was shining on my shoulder) and out of the corner of my eye I saw a bug moving on my shoulder. At first in my tired head I wasn’t quite sure what it was, it was moving in circles frantically, then I woke up better and thought bug bed, bug in bed omg bed bug. I came out of that bed like I was on fire. Something told me to catch it to take to the front desk, so I got a cup and caught it. I looked it up to verify it was a bed bug and it was. I wish at the time I would have thought to get a picture to post with this review but I didn’t because all I could think about was getting out of there. I woke my husband up, checked to make sure nothing was crawling on him, there wasn’t, gather all our stuff quickly, went to the desk and showed the bug to the clerk, she was shocked, said yep that’s a bed bug, said our money would be refunded. She offered another room but I said no. I went to a corner to wait for my husband, pulled everything out of our overnight bag and checked it thoroughly to make sure there were no bug hitchhikers before putting it back in the car. My husband came out and we left with barely any rest. The Clerk said they would close off the room and treat it, but what I’m concerned about for everyone staying there is that the entire hotel should be treated because there is never just one. Where there’s one there’s more. This was an adult bug, so it had been there somewhere for a while and likely traveled over from another room. I would think the entire hotel should be treated. I hope it will be.
