We arrived and then left - didn’t stay

I rarely write bad reviews but thought I should warn others about staying here. We arrived early evening to check in and were given a dirty unmade room in a poor location. The hotel was near empty and no clean rooms were available. Our second room was made up but horribly dirty. Terrible stains on the bed, smelled and worn furniture. Plus it was facing an outdoor dog pound with constant yelping from many stressed out dogs, and a semi truck running loudly below the room. They clearly have big issues here. No staffing totally run down and big hazard. Please find somewhere else to stay.

Nice people, nice room

I stayed 2 nights at this location while in Columbus for my 50th high school reunion. The front desk were some of the nicest people I've done business with in my past 4 months of vacation traveling. My room was very clean and comfortable, newly remodeled, good WiFi and USB charging stations. I was have a problem setting the a/c and they promptly sent a maintenance man and he set it up and showed me how to operate it. I'd like to thank Manager David Rodgers for his hospitality and help. I highly recommend this site.

Comfortable bed, spotless room, and friendly staff - only one point off for miscommunication that wasted a little bit of time - but, hoping to stay here again, the next time I pass through town and recommending this hotel to anyone traveling this way.

Great stay and great staff! David Rodgers and the staff was superb at making my stay as comfortable as possible. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus. It’s in the perfect location for shopping as well.

Excellent Service, Deficient Amenities

Our first experience here was with Jordan, who, just as I walked in, received a challenging guest on the phone...and then two more guests came to the front counter. She stayed steady and friendly, apologized for the delay, but worked through the challenges and seemed to have satisfied everyone in the end. We were certainly pleased. On the other hand: breakfast is CLEARLY advertised on the website, but NOT offered. This was a big reason for staying here. The explanation could have been considered reasonable, but we didn't think.so. If the issue truly rests on Baymont / Wyndham's shoulders, then they have created false advertising. If it rests in fact on the franchisee, then... In addition, the coffee packets in the room made such terrible coffee that we had to pour it out...and we can drink just about anything. The item offered in place of "creamer" is called "whitener"! Really? We ended up going over to IHOP, buying over-priced coffee, and having to endure obnoxious music there while waiting for several minutes to be served, to get our order, and to get our payment processed. This was a bit of an inconvenience when the hotel should have offered proper coffee. Ah, and the pool was "out of service", another reason we came to stay. Check-out went smoothly. Things were quiet around the hotel. The pillows were uncomfortable, but we have learned to bring our own. The mattress was comfortable. The other amenities seemed to work properly. Oh, no exhaust fan in the toilet area. Hmm.
