3rd Time is the Charm...NOT

This was my 3rd and last time. This time was on the back side of hotel. Wifi horrible. Still no pool and breakfast. I understood with Covid last time, but this time at least breakfast should have been served. Outlet hanging out of wall. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Floor was dirty. I know all they use is like a Swiffer mop as I saw it, but if I can wipe up some water I spilled and the towel is black with dirt NO WAY was this floor cleaned properly. I like the upgrades they have tried, but come on. Hire people that know what they are doing!!! It was like 80 bucks last time on a weekend this time 100.... No I cannot stay here again and I come to Conyers often now since I have friends to there.
Another dirty visit honestly a public health hazard.

So.... last time I stayed here a few weeks ago the room was very very dirty , so I took pictures and told the lady at front desk when we returned the keys so I figured it would have been addressed with housekeeping, so I thought we could try this place out again to see. Much to my surprise the room I got this time was just as dirty , if not worse . The doors were still filthy , bathtub was much better , but the bed covering under the fitted sheet had not been changed I a very long time . The different stains were horrible . With COVID as serious as it is, and my husband being a congestive heart failure patient this is just unexceptionable. The housekeeping supervisor should be held accountable, as well as housekeeping staff. This is a hazard to not only my health but all visitors and staff at this establishment. There should also be fines enforced to this establishment as well . It is a public health hazard . I will not return here .

I always choose this place because you don’t have to walk thru the place to get to your room every time , and because it usually is the cleanest one at this exit. However this time it was just as nasty as the econo lodge at same exit. The bath tub was absolutely disgusting!!!! I felt that it had not been properly washed in a long time because even the shower head had nasty funk on it where the water comes out. There were dirty hand marks on doors, it was horrible . The housekeeper would be fired if it were up to me . Being that dirty with all that is going on is very dangerous to the customer paying money to stay here. I promise u nothing about this room was disinfected . If I had not brought my own disinfectant wipes there is no telling what germs I would have gotten from here . I was beyond disappointed. Then when I checked out the lady at front desk was unconcerned with the issue . She could have cared less that the room was filthy .although she did apologize for the nasty nasty room . Gee thanks !
2nd time Not Good

So my check in was Friday and I knew I would be later like 7 or 8 when I got the call at 3 saying that online overbooked them I should have known, but no I told them I'm good just give me a normal room. I've stayed here once before and it was great to be not a "name brand" per se. I arrived and was shocked oh ok bottom floor right by the office cool. Wait NO BREAKFAST because of COVID not even cereal or donuts ok cool we still good.... Thennnnnn I got in the room. COVID is around so the room should be clean right? OMG I took the lysol wipes out and started in. The first two came out black with dust and craziness. Then the hair and dirt on the floor God please don't let me die from Coronavirus. I stayed because it was non refundable and no where else had rooms in that area. I told them the next day CLEAN that DAMN room. Came back and it was ok, but still not great. Also told them the AC thing was hanging off and no smoke alarm. "Oh we are not done with that room". Ohhhhh so y'all put me in the step child room ok then
As I was leaving Sunday I saw them "cleaning" a room. Y'all they were using like a swiffer mop in the rooms but using the same pad not changing it. I sat in my parking spot for 20 minutes and watched them clean two rooms. 20 minutes!!! Heloooooo coronavirus says you must spend extra time cleaning. Not staying here again until the vaccine comes out lol lol.

I travel at night so I always request a early check in,some will,some won't,this one did,11:00 a.m. which I really appreciated,the lady at the front desk was a little grouchy,I had spoke with her a few days before,she gave the the answer most do and
understandably so,"if we don't sell out the night before" ( not asking alot,still paying for it) this used to be a Jemison Inn so it is a little old (so am I) the rooms don't have carpet,I like that,furnishings are old and rough in spots,(I don't care) the chair that is at the desk had signs of spills,the microwave had napkins left in it from a previous guest, the cabinetry under the lavatory sink is homemade stained plywood, (looks tacky, not a issue to me) the bed looked really clean and was very comfortable,the bathroom looked super clean,I slept really well,my room faced I-20 but noise was not a issue, I make this same trip several times a year, Alabama-Virginia and back,I have stayed here before when it was still a Jemison Inn,last couple trips I stayed at a Hampton,but they will no longer consider a early check inn and $100 is pricey for a 10 hour stay,I will come back here next trip just for a early check-inn,once I go to sleep nothing else matters,it is between average and poor so I had to give credit for a early check inn
