This hotel was not good. I expected a decent Marriott property but was very disappointed. The room we were originally given was not vaccuumed, bathroom was poorly cleaned, bed didn’t feel clean, literally up to where we made our OWN bed and vaccuumed our OWN floor. We originally were in the room for 10 minutes after check in before leaving awhile and coming back to freshen up and this is when we discovered the cleanliness issues, after fixing the main part of the room, we discovered the filthy bathroom and were done. We went to switch rooms and once again, it wasn’t vaccuumed, bathroom had soap scum, not clean floor or shower. Only difference is bed felt more clean. We had no where else to go and not much time to deal with this or we would’ve left. I shouldn’t feel the need to clean my own room. Trash also sat by the elevator for at least 8 hrs, breakfast was poor, and front desk said they’d help with discount but didn’t, glad I paid a low rate. No apology ever came.

Room was not very clean, still had garbage in the trash from the last guests. In the morning when I went to shower the shampoo dispenser was empty. We forgot a phone charger in the room and they "didn’t find it" when we called to see if they could return it.

We stayed here while passing through Iowa on a short vacation. Check-in was quick and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. You could tell this was a new hotel. The fitness center had a good selection of weights. Nice restaurants near by to choose from. Saved this hotel for our future trips.

Very rude and incompetent front desk staff-Avoid this hotel at all costs

Worst front desk staff. Was treated very poorly and required to move rooms in the middle of the night when management was unable to control the loud banging/ jumping directly above me Management was unfriendly, rude and not friendly towards a customer ( me) with a simple request Very disappointing experience

Nice, Comfortable and Modern

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Coralville for 4 nights. The hotel appears to be very new. It was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes from the shopping mall and numerous places to eat. Would I stay at the Fairfield Inn again? Absolutely.
