I use Motel 6 primarily because of their pet policy which means my dog is allowed and free. But this one is in slightly rough condition. It started with the front door of the office which would not stay closed in a cold wind so they had a wash cloth jammed in the door frame to hold it closed. I noticed the pool was empty with loads of junk furniture piled in the pool area. The sink in my room was cracked and they did not leave us enough toilet paper so I had to go to the office for more. But the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the water was hot so nothing to really complain about for a price after all fees and taxes of less than $60 a night including my dog made it okay. Also, we got a 10% discount on the Denny's restaurant on site. This motel does not have a free breakfast but with my discount I got two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and two pancakes for $3.60

There was no fridge or mirowave..said I had to pay extra for that...key never worked. It was a big deal to get service when eating chips were more important...do not stay here..high prices poor poor service..called cooperate they did nothing...sorry people

Room was so damp the floor was sweating. The place only had a handful of people staying - can't believe this was one of the better rooms. I stay at this chain because they accept pets but I won't stay at this one again.

My room was comfortable ,clean maids we're very nice ,front desk people were also nice the price is really good I recommend staying here I will most definitely come back here if I stay in this area 😃

A lousy stay during a difficult time

If I could give this a zero rating, I would. My family and I had to travel to Cordele from Florida due to my father’s death while he was traveling. We needed to stay two nights while waiting for his remains to be released to us. If it weren’t for the fact that my aunt booked the rooms for us, I would have turned around and left. First of all, the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking. It definitely did NOT smell like it. There was a very strong smoke smell in both rooms. My brother has asthma so he was coughing and wheezing the whole time because of it. When I walked into my room, the first thing I saw was a cockroach skittering across the wall. Yuck! There was no table, just a desk/dresser and only a single chair. We had to sit on the beds or the uncomfortable chair. It was obvious the floor had not been swept or mopped in quite sometime since just walking from the bed to the bathroom left our feet black. We mentioned this to the lady at the front desk and she said she would mention it to housekeeping. Nobody from housekeeping came to clean the floors. They didn’t even sweep it. Our second night there, we asked the front desk for towels because they had picked them up earlier in the day but hadn’t given us new ones. We were told there were NO towels available at the hotel. Um...what? Never heard that one before. Then in the morning, well before check out time, the door opened and the housekeeper tried to come in the room. We hadn’t checked out yet and still had plenty of time. I definitely did not appreciate that. We explained that we were still getting ready and packing our things up. The lady flounced off and then glared at us every time she walked by the window. The only plus side to the whole stay was the comfortable bed and decent price. I would have much rather paid a little more and stayed at the Ramada across the street. Stay here only if you’re desperate.
