Looks Nice, But Lacks Hospitality Touch

This place looks nice, but attention to detail is lacking. Sheets were not clean. Breakfast area and juice machine were dirty. Front desk was argumentative when approached about it. You would do well to pick a different option in Cortland.

Garbage hotel

Rude and incompetent staff that’s not willing to help in any capacity. I was unable to make my reservation and when I spoke to the hotel front desk about it, they simply hung up on me and refused to assist. Avoid this hotel and stay somewhere else.

The facility, including my room, was clean. It was also very quiet, which I appreciated. The website indicated that there's Internet, but there isn't. There was a sign on the front desk saying it wasn't working. I had an important zoom meeting and had to go elsewhere for it. When I asked the manager about discounting my bill to account for no Wifi, he told me he has complaints in with the Attorney General and two senators. He refused to reduce my bill. I suggested taking the info off the website, that it's misleading and he replied that there are too many websites. A surprising lack of customer service in this day and age... Breakfast was eh. Not much of a selection - all carbs with a few apples and some yogurt. I had also originally intended to book two nights - Thursday and Friday. The price for Friday night was more than double Thursday night, so I didn't book it.

We were staying while my mother was in comfort care, and we needed to extend from our original reservation 2 or 3 different times and they were most accommodating and very understanding of our situation.

The hotel is situated 30 minutes from Ithaca so very convenient to go there. The breafast is the muffins, cereal and coffee. There is a coffee maker in your room as well as a refrigerator and microwave. Best to bring your own food not much is provided. The room is clean but there is no room clean up service for a 2 night stay. They don't make your bed or anything.
