It's nice but not incredible.

Truth is that this hotel is closer a 3.5. Closer to a three than a four. But, I don't want to bring the average down too much. It's nice and clean. The staff is nice, and you have to remember that this is a hotel in a very small island with limited resources. However, for the price, it could be a bit better. Like, how about more pillows? How about free water? Working lights in the entire building. The second floor terrace didn't have lights. It needs more trash cans. But, again, considering that you are on a remote island with limited resources, it is good. It could be better.
Great Culebra Spot

Excellent Service! My first Bush Walker. We appreciate the service of Cathy, and the nice atmosphere. Great to have a fun time, have drinks and good seafood. The place is a most, for us the first place to eat and experience the taste of the Culebra beach Island food.
Very nice but check in is at 4pm

The rooms are nice. The view from the room was gorgeous. Clear waters. There is restaurant right downstairs. A bakery right across the street. A store around the corner. But check in was at 4pm so do not arrive early unless you plan at staying at the beach all day until it’s fine to check in.

Watch out! This property is not safe! No security peepholes on the doors above the first floor. The doors are flimsy with light coming through top, sides and bottom. No emergency fire escape plan. There is only one way down a landing of wooden steps to get off the third floor and one way down to get to ground level. These are not just safety oversights. The owner does not care about his guests in any way. Here is why we say this. During our stay the owner arranged to put up an ad for Coca-Cola on the side of his hotel. This required scaffolding which completely blocked the one staircase from guest use for more than seven hours! We just happened to go back to the hotel mid-day and were taking showers when we heard frantic knocking on the door. We were told we had to vacate the room immediately because of some unclear maintenance issue that would take 3 HOURS. Since our plan was to take a nap, we insisted on getting another room, but we did not pack up most of our belongings because of the mysterious rush involved. That meant we were later unable to return to the beach for a second snorkeling adventure because the scaffolding continued to block access to the room that held our belongings for 4 MORE HOURS AND COUNTING until we emphatically complained. Our encounter with the owner was unpleasant. After some heated discussion he agreed to give us our money back for that night, but we had to sleep in the second “nap” room, which had not been refurbished for decades and had roaches. Owner was arrogant and sarcastic and said that “normally” he would only give us half our money back. Normally?? And how about giving us our one afternoon at the beach back? Please do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. The price appears low, but it is actually high considering the danger, aggravation and potential loss of opportunity involved.
No Hot Water and way too noisy!!

Benefit was walking distance to everything but you can hear all the noise , roosters from the street. I highly recommend renting an airbnb away from the town area if you plan to sleep. I arrived early and the sign said they will be back at 9:30...they didnt show up until 10:30 ....i know its island time and all, but customer service is still just that, customer service.
