Don’t go to the restaurant afternoon.

Rooms ok. Gym ok. Restaurant in the afternoon No Good. Transportation good. Customer service okay. Breakfast/Buffet very decent a lot of variety. The service on different areas varies depending who’s working on shift.

Weekend business trip

I stayed at the doubletree lovefield for a business trip over the weekend. The shuttle service was great but that was the only thing I enjoyed about the stay. I did not like the room location even though I had special request. The service could have been better.

Don’t stay on the 2nd floor.

Staff was really nice, but we stayed on the 2nd floor and it sounded like someone was opening and slamming a door roughly every 45 minutes. My wife and I checked in late and heard it twice before we went to bed. We thought it was annoying, but didn’t know where it was coming from so what could do or complain about? It happened all night and ruined our sleep. Every 45 minutes…BAM. The next morning I spoke to a couple of residents on the floor and they had the same experience. When I asked the front desk staff, they immediately knew what it was. I appreciate their honesty and they provided a small credit to the room, but I’m very, very let down that they checked us in (based on the options on the app other rooms were available) without any warning. Other than that, nice property.

Loud garbage trucks and no hot water

Loud garbage trucks outside room at 5am and no hot water in room. Took manager most 2 days to contact me after informing front desk of issues and requesting to be contacted. .One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, would NOT recommend staying at this hotel

Overpriced for the quality of stay. But, good location near Love Field

The key advantage is its location to the airport. However, if you are willing to stay 15-20 further away you will get better pricing with equivalent services. The biggest shortfall I found is with its shuttle van. The van schedules are a hit or miss at times and you may end up going to a pilot training center instead of the airport.
