You get what you pay for.
Fairly clean, but the room had a smell. Rm 118. TV channels were fairly plentiful but old TV with poor quality and bad color. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room. Most all furniture was old and showed signs of wear. Fortunately price was low so not to bad for the price.
STAY FAR AWAY !!!
Attendant was very rude and condescending. My room key did not work, so I returned to the front desk. Attendant was condescending and said I wasn't using the key correctly ( I stay in hotels all the time and this key scan was malfunctioning for sure ). Attendant reluctantly re-booted the room key and i returned to the room and the key worked properly this time. The room was neatly dressed... but, there were small flying insects in the room. The walls were dirty and the corners of the baseboards were very dirty. The shower was pretty nasty. The TV remote was a grimy-sticky feeling---so I used a sanitizing wipe to clean it off. The TV, coffee maker, and Internet worked nicely. Towels were neatly folded and clean. Beds were neatly clean.
Very clean
I know it’s not the fanciest hotel but both of our rooms were very clean and we saw the crew deep cleaning curtains and bedspreads which was very reassuring! At this time of the pandemic I felt that was so important.
Going home to Canada
We were in Florida for 5 months but due to the Corona virus had to return to Canada earlier. We always stay at Red Roof Inns as we find they meet all our needs. We have two dogs that we travel with and it is pet friendly. We want a fridge and micro in the room which they supply and the rooms are always clean with comfortable beds and free parking and wi-fi.
Three words - Save Your Money
We picked a Red Roof Inn bcuz we are not fancy people and we travel with our beloved dog Daisy. We've stayed at many other Red Roofs in the past. This one was horrible. Everything is old and worn out and the floor was filthy. I had to wear socks the entire time and when I went to put my shoes back on I had to actually brush off the bottom of my socks. The walls are paper thin and despite running the bathroom fan and room temperature fan and the hum of my husband's sleep apnea machine our neighbors TV still kept us awake as well as the traffic noise from the express way. Do yourself a favor and look for a different pet friendly hotel.
