A wonderful small hotel

Do not be put off by appearances ! Such a comfortable & quiet hotel , staff so friendly & helpful Breakfasts extensive & delicious see photo!! Visiting friends in the area , so near to tram stop Altogether a very enjoyable stay and highly recommended.

great service and the hotel goes there extra mile . The breakfast is above average with good quality fruit and options . The room had tea and coffee and free water , better than average in Germany / Europe . Very friendly staff . Free parking , close to tram , about 1 mile from station .

My wife and I stayed over night here to see the Halloween festival at Burg Frankenstein. It was a very cute little hotel. not a lot of rooms. Rooms were cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was incredible. Great location to stay and do what we needed to do. Parking was a struggle but it's Germany.

My first time stayed at this hotel was 20 years ago. I had stayed here for more than 8 times. It is a small hotel with less than 20 rooms but I like staying here as it is located at a quiet location with a nice Italian restaurant next door. The hotel rooms are recently renovated and upgraded especially the WiFi speed is much improved. Recommend to stay if you come to Darmstadt.

we stayed at the hotel stadt heidelberg once after coming off a cruise and a week later for 3 nights to celebrate my brothers 80's birthday. the management was nice enough to store some of our luggage so that we did to have to "schlepp" it all over our additional road trip. they also honored my request for the first floor because of a my mobility problem.when we returned our left suitcases were already in the requested first level room. the hotel is very clean. it has all the the conveniences of a medium priced hotel. they also have a room where you can use the computer and they have free WIFI.the staff is very accommodating and they speak english. their breakfast buffet is outstanding offering great choices. they do not have an elevator. the italian restaurant next door is also very good. we were there during the asparagus season and we took fully advantage of it. if you cannot find a parking space up front, they have additional free parking in the back. i can highly recommend the hotel if you need one in the area.
