this hotel is discisting and the staff are very rude. Took money out my account and still no deposit back. Beds horrible floor is terrible the manager ain't got a clue what hes doing or how to talk polite to people. Robbing rude no food people. This should not be open.

Avoid this hotel, first impressions from outside seem ok. But I can only describe the interior and the rooms like a dated prison block. The rooms are not clean to any acceptable standard, dirty carpets that you feel cleaner keeping your shoes on whilst walking. Bed seemed ok, and slept quite well. However was exhausted so think I would have slept anywhere. Restaurant was extremely poor, very limited choice and low quality. Made me smile seeing a Chicago town pizza on the menu for £11.50 though. Did not book breakfast as could not wait to.get out and didn't trust her food. Will definitely not be staying here again, and will avoid this chain going forward.

Paud for full breakfast. Offered takeaway continental in the morning. Refused and asked for refund for breakfast. I am till waiting for my refund Water pipes in another room made noise most of the night. Couldn't sleep well.

We stayed in Room 221 and frankly it was exceptionally poor. The prime purpose of a hotel room is a good nights sleep and unfortunatley in room 221 this was impossible. Why? well the mattress is completely worn out and one feels springs in ones back. Nobody seems to care and staff just shrug their shoulders and say lots complain but management will not spend any money. So there are plenty of alternatives very nearby so unitl such time as beds become usable its goodbye Campanile.Perhaps somebody in management actually reads these reviews? Well hold your head in shame and DO something about it.

Quick and easy check-in, staff prompt and efficient. Hotel dated, don't think it has been updated in the last 8 years when it had a major overhaul. Bed very lumpy, new mattress needed!!! Hairdryer in room not working!!
