Good place to stay.
Helpful and very friendly staff. Quiet, very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room. Decent breakfast. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Not expensive. We were impressed. Not much else to say!
Staying a night before family wedding
Stayed one night, well writing this from the car as we leave , what a lovely stay. Clean fresh looking room, 2 adults 2 kids plenty of space, really nice staff in the breakfast area in the morning, asked for vegi Sausages and the chief even asked if we’re here tomorrow as would we want same tomorrow staff are very attentive. As an old ihg member stayed at many Would stay here again without doubt .
Hotel it self was not too bad. Quite clean to a standard. But the service from the staff was very poor. I got sworn at by the staff at the restaurant. The gentle man at the counter when I arrived didn’t give me any information about my stay. i had to ask him about all the details on where to find what I needed. Very disappointed. And due this reason has made my stay For the week very un-pleasurable!!!
More holiday inn express
The worst Holiday inn I have visited, more like a Travel lodge I am afraid. Even the flags flying outside are threadbare. As a platinum IHG member I normally get offered an upgrade. It wouldn’t have mattered here in any event! The executive rooms are no different to the standard other than a coffee machine and alarm clock. Oh dear! Here on the second week I stayed in room 54, the furthest from reception, the longest walk. At the Holiday inn at Crick I am offered a warm welcome, here there is a serious shortage of staff. The green option is nog to have the room made up at Holiday inns and for this you receive an additional 500 points per stay. Here, you have to actually ask for the privilege, no card to ‘hang on the door’ in the rooms. The food is really poor and my toasted panini was still cold in the middle, yuk. There are no waitresses at breakfast, everything is ‘self service’ through drinks machines. The chap whom clears the table is more interested in talking to the ladies on reception than trying to bring and hospitality to the place. There are two positives about this place and that is the guy that works behind the bar at night and doubles as a waiter and the black breakfast chef. They say hello and make you feel welcome! The dirty mark on the wall outside my room stayed there for the 4 days of my last stay. Thanks but won’t be back
Greeted at reception with a lovely welcoming from a chatty lady, check in swift & easy, room was spotless then went down to the bar to have drinks and food bar staff very helpful as I asked for the football to be put on they were very happy to do so, food was mostly good except the burger bun but we can forgive that, had a great nights sleep in a great comfy bed very much looking forward to coming back again soon
