Estivemos 15 dias em Davis e ficamos no Hyatt Place UC Davis. O quarto é muito espaçoso e possui uma infraestrutura muito boa. No quarto você terá disponível ferro de passar roupa com tábua de passar roupa, cafeteira e itens para fazer café e chá. O quato possui uma anti sala que poderia ser usado como uma cama extra. Fiquei no quarto com 2 camas quem. O Hotel oferece um bom café da manhã. Os andares possuem máquina para gelo. O sistema de refrigeração é excelente e o staff de limpeza dos quartos muito bom. Enfim, aproveite sua estadia, este hotel fica dentro do Campus e você poderá caminhar pelo Arboretum (magnífico). Para ir até o centro da cidade (meu local favorito é o mercado Whole Foods) você poderá caminhar pelo Arboretum por 10 minutos. Davis é maravilhoso e a estadia no Hyatt Place deixa boas lembranças.

Convenient for UC Davis Stay

This hotel is literally on the edge of the campus so, if that's what you need, it's a good choice. However, downtown Davis is only a mile or two down the road and that way you'd be within walking distance of nightlife and food so not sure I'd choose this hotel again. Rooms are clean and well-maintained except that I was told for short stays, you don't automatically get housekeeping service. This is fine for a solo traveler like me but if you're traveling in a family group, it might be a little inconvenient for you. I had only minor issues with the room like the TV remote being difficult to use but it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast is so so. It's what you would expect from a free breakfast...scrambled eggs, sausage plus some continental items like cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice. Coffee is usually available all day. There's a small bar with some drinks for purchase but not much food-wise, just a few prepackaged items and some candy and sodas. But there's literally a ton of restaurants in downtown Davis that are not far so I doubt you'd rely on hotel food, anyway. Other cons? You have to pay for parking every night at the hotel ($17 per night). Bed was also a little too firm for my taste.

Check in process was extremely easy considering we had multiple rooms blocked for our group. Front desk was extremely accommodating throughout the whole stay, especially when we needed replacement keys. Hotel was clean and comfortable in a good area.

Enjoyed a short family vacation and hotel location was convenient when visiting daughter at UC Davis. The rooms were nice. I do recommend a little more attention to detail as have allergies and noticed the night stands were dusty.

The fees that UC Davis stacks on top of the already exorbitant price of $389 a night is despicable. A $30 fee for UC Davis? For what? $17 to park? What a joke! We will never stay here again. I guess location has its price. Not worth it!
