Horrible experience , the room was dirty. The formule price/quality doesn’t match! Not so good experience.

My experience at Villa 81 was really disappointing, the room didn’t get our expectations for a 300€/night. Service really poor. The room is not in a well condition and the cleaning is really poor. The pics showed you that you will be una dream and then is not like this...

Marvelous Experience

I had the absolute pleasure to visit Deauville and stay at the Villa 81. This is a villa situated directly across the street from (and shares) the spa facilities at La Closerie. Check-in and day staff (across the street at La Closerie) were exceptional (friendly, informative, smiling, professional). The evening solo staff member was a bit less forthcoming, perhaps shy, but it reflected a bit as unenthusiastic in comparison to the exemplary service level of the Day Team! The facilities were clean and simple to access (with a secure code). Instructions were clear in both French and English. A robe and towels were provided, as were slippers. There were tiny lockers for your coat and bag, which came with a key on a wrist band which you could then wear while in the spa. For guests staying in La Closerie or Villa Odette, they could take an elevator to the spa, so lockers were not really needed. For guests across the street at Villa 81, we had our outdoor wear (coats and shoes) and thus needed the lockers! They also offered the very accommodating service to use the spa facilities before the rooms were available for check-in, and even after one had checked out, for the rest of that afternoon until the train out of town! This was a true bonus and one of the reasons I will return to them again! Spa services like massages, gommage and facials etc are offered at additional costs. The rooms in the Villa were very comfy, nicely done, with quality beds, and linens and fluffy robes and towels. There was a desk, a fridge, a safe, a coffee machine, tv+remote, wifi, hairdyer and an armoire in the room which was nice as well. (The phone in my room did not seem to work, but I had my own, so it didn't matter too much, although the one thing not well labelled was how to operate the safe, so for that I had to call and ask for help!) The common space downstairs was deserted (time of year?), but beautifully decorated with sofas, chairs, small tables and even a fireplace! There was a "bar" area, which would have been nice if they had a microwave for guests who might like to use one, or a hot water kettle, but really those would just be icing on the already beautiful cake! My one peeve: sometimes a family or a couple shut the locker room door, and then it was a tiny bit awkward to knock to ask if one could enter to get their affairs! There were several other dressing rooms, so perhaps remove the door from the main room to prevent this? And add a hair dryer to the spa?

Quality Hotel with Friendly Staff

I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay in this very friendly establishment. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished. The hotel is located downtown but is only a couple of blocks from the beach. Deauville is a beautiful, friendly town.

Parfait pour un Week end en amoureux nous avons tres bien profité nous nous somme bien reposé . Les mauvais points: -Spa et espace petit déjeuner pas assez spacieux pour la capacité d’acceuil. -VMC de la salle de bain bruyante la nuit et isolations pas terrible .

Logement tres bien placé et tres pratique, et assez en retrait en même temps ce qui permet de trouver où se garer et surtout d'éviter les files de voitures, la chambre en elle même reste répond à tous les critères. Pour le pdj rien à dire très bien juste ce qu'il faut ! Pour ce qui est du spa, les structures sont tres bien ( sauna, hammam, jaccuzzi, piscine) manque de place pour se poser en mode détente sur un transat c'est dommage, et gros soucis au niveau des vestiaires... pour ceux qui logent dans les villas, assez compliqué, vestiaire casier limités en nombre et surtout pas de vestiaire pour se changer à proprement parler, il faut le faire dans les toilettes. Je reste néanmoins très satisfaite de se sejour !
