Good but bad bed

Bed is like a wooden board… We were cold at a certain stage but heating system was efficient. Location is on main road We got the ground floor because of luggage Bathroom is large enough and was clean Room is large- includes Netflix in case you are bored

Generous size units

Spotlessly clean unit we couldn't fault anything and been upstairs found we didn't hear any noise from courtyard parking. Perhaps a bit far from historic Oamaru area and whilst there was a restaurant on site we drove to town centre for eating options. Rooms were generous size so plenty of room to unpack and basic kitchen facilities were fine.

The room was very basic with a very small bathroom. The outdoor seating area was in need of some serious maintenance. The paving stones were full of weeds, the trees were overgrown and the outdoor furniture had seen better days. The restaurant food was quite bland but the portion sizes were very generous, however way too much for the average person. Nice, friendly staff though, and they were willing to help.

Great location and a lovely hotel

Fabulously located within walking distance of the heritage precinct and blue penguin viewing site. This place seems very new and has been thoughtfully fitted out with little touches of luxury. The bed is super comfy and view out the the ocean lovely. Very quiet and welcoming. Can recommend !

Staff are friendly and nice, and check was easy. Was so unimpressed that they put me next to a covid positive patient that was isolating when they had other rooms available. The walls were paper thin so everything he coughed, I felt like I was getting coughed on. The beds were so hard to the point they were almost painful and I considered sleeping on my yoga Matt on the floor. Notice in shower saying if steam from shower triggered fire alarm you would be charged $250, yet they had no extractor van. Continental breakfast they served in the restaurant was actually embarrassing. Warm yogurt, dry toast or rice bubbles/ cornflakes that looked like they had been there years. Just a terrible experience.
