There's a reason that we always stay at Hotel Pacific whenever we have gone to Dehradun over the past few years (this is our fifth stay there) - the people are super-friendly and have gone out of their way to help us on every request that we have come up with. Just to give an example, my ten-year-old loves the place, and whenever we mention an upcoming trip to Dehradun, the thing he most looks forward to is splashing around everyday in the bathtub of our hotel room. Last time round we missed out on getting a room with a bathtub (when I had mentioned this during check-out, the manager told me that if only I had mentioned this during the check-in, they'd have got us one) , so this time I had requested if we can get one with a tub - and the hotel promptly replied that they will keep exactly such a room reserved. In fact, once we reached the hotel we got upgraded to an executive suite and my son spent all five days we were there enjoying splashing in the tub. Also, this time we had to book the hotel at very short notice - and initially I was not able to find any vacancies in the usual booking sites. The moment I called up the hotel, they arranged to have me book from the hotel website directly - although they apologized that they were fully booked on the last day. Despite that, they arranged our car back to the airport - even though we were staying the last day in another hotel. Really appreciate the manager's proactive approach. In earlier times too, when there had been some issues with booking the hotel from 3rd party websites, all it took was a phone call to the hotel to sort things out (once I booked for room with breakfast, but when the payment was done, the acknowledgment at the site did not mention breakfast - when I called the hotel they said they will immediately correct the error and added free breakfast to our booking). We also quite like the attached restaurant - apart from our breakfast, we ended up having dinners there 3 out of the 5 nights we spent. I suspect the staff at the restaurant probably recognizes my son on sight by now :-> All in all, it just keeps getting better every visit - and I look forward to our next stay there!

Worst service ever no one listen for anything I think jungle raaj tha inka I have call and visit in reception 4-5 time for Crockery for dinner but no one provide me that's only says ok sir Wait for 10 minute evry time Finnaly I purchased disposal from market for dinner

Stay in Hotel was par excellent. The room was very spacious, neat and clean. The staff were very cordial. The front office was nice. It has also a fine restaurant. There was ample parking space in front.

We stayed at the Pacific, Dehradun for 1 night and had clearly reserved a room with breakfast. When we got to the reception to confirm, they said it was a “only room” reservation. I checked the booking website again and it still showed the room with breakfast for the same amount we booked. I told the receptionists but they said when we click to the next page it will show the real deal we get(i.e. room only). I clicked on the price and the next page still showed the same price with breakfast. The receptionists said they will look into it and took no further actions to help us with the deceiving lead. There was no sign of sympathy, no compensation or the courtesy to pay for our drinks in the hot weather. It is the responsibility of the hotel and the website to make sure “what we see is what we get” otherwise we will never choose the same hotel. The hotel looses not only us but also all of our friends and family who ask us for a hotel recommendation in Dehradun. To top it off, the hotel is old and outdated. They have not maintained the amenities too. The spring on both the knobs of the bathroom tap is loose and they have a “save water” sticker on the mirror. Instead of wasting all that money on the stickers and other unnecessary stuff, you should mend the leaking taps! I am very disappointed and will not recommend anyone to choose this hotel.

Amazing place to stay

This was an amazing experience because great hospitality and food. Me and my friends enjoyed a lot in and out there hotel. This place has a lovely and fantastic views. Just loved our stay. Do take a look if around the property. I loved the Indian delicacies and their services are fantastic and on time. It's lovely having a comfortable stay.
