Best family place in Algiers

I visited the Holiday Inn Algiers with my family. Such a lovely place with nice personnel who are willing to help, the room was on a high floor and very clean with everything needed in place. Lovely terrasse in the second floor with nice atmosphere, the restaurant 101 on the 25th floor was amazing, windows were a bit dirty but it is very understandable as it was raining mud and it is a tower so I guess they cannot clean it everyday. On Fridays they have nice entertainment for kids so I will definitely come back.

Always I stay in this hotel for many reasons , location , friendly staff and good breakfast .also house keeping is consistent and always keeping high quality cleaning , COVID-19 is disturbing the operation but they are trying to return back to their high level, Ms Hala is really trying her best to keep the stay in the hotel very comfortable.
First Holiday Inn in Algiers - Some Thoughts

I stayed here for 5 nights for work. I was on a high floor in a lovely room, with a separate dressing room, sitting room and double bathroom. The equipment was clean and new, and the bed extremely comfortable, up to Holiday Inn standards. This hotel, as the first IHG property in the region, is playing a valuable role in providing training, jobs and careers for local people. The restaurants are at opposite ends of the tower, with the glamorous 101 on the top floor, I found the food excellent especially the fish soup and rouille. The views are amazing and the sunset (see photo) really quite special. The atmosphere is refined and the staff attentive.
The other restaurant, on the first floor, provides both breakfast and relaxed buffet dining in the evening. Food was OK, although the restaurant lacked atmosphere in the evening. Breakfast was OK although the coffee, from a machine, really was not up to the correct standard. Fresh omelettes were available to order as well.
My only negative - and this can happen anywhere - was the fire alarm due to someone smoking in their room at 1am. As we came down the stairs (20 floors) I noticed the large number of cigarette butts in the stairs, especially between floors 3,4 and 5 - there were hundreds. This is not only unsightly but also a grave security concern. I trust measures will be taken to ensure that does not happen again.
