Good product with room for improvement

7 nights stay with what one can described as perfect weather. Arrived late on day 1, grand picture worthy lobby, welcomed immediately with a drink while checking in. Then swiftly taken to the room and a quick tour of the room. A quick drink at the Tatavu bar/grill, entertained by live music which finished around 10pm. Courtesy staff but everything was winding down. Day 2 started with their buffet breakfast at island 619, usual spread but if one is accustomed to lavish Asian hotel breakfast, you may be disappointed. Pool area was nice equipped with umbrellas and semi good shading, but the view of the ocean was stunning. What was disappointing was guests claiming tanning chairs and area with their towel for almost the entire day. I think this should be better policed to allow other guest to enjoy the facilities. Pool staff were fun, engaging especially to the kids. I was fortunate enough to experience a welcome drinks hosted by the management team and met a few of their management team. Buffet dinner at island 619 are themed nightly, adequate but have to say it did not wow me. Attended their farm to fork (first since Covid) which toured their small organic farm nearby, traditional feast and Kava ceremony. Kudos to Paulisi, well organised, very engaging. The rest of my time were spent pool side, drinks and pool food. Room underwent major renovation during Covid, so very modern feel, plush beds, good entertainment systems (Chromecast), internet speed was adequate. Housekeeping was good, but timing is a bit odd, no real set time but apparently you can request specific time etc. Daily replenishment of complementary water which is always appreciated. On check out, there was a dedicated Fiji Airway check in at the resort, but what they failed to let you know is there’s a cut off to when baggages are picked up. Be sure to enquire!! So clearly I missed the baggage pick up window, so on check out, a special mention to Aesena, she went above and beyond to try and bring my prebooked transport early! She tried until the last minute and managed to bring it forward by a bit which was enough to goto the airport and make the bag drop time. Her dedication to her job should be commended. In my opinion, there were a lot of positive aspects of my stay and a few areas of improvement as what you should expect from a Sheraton chain beach resort. I will consider to return to this resort for a very restful holiday.

I stayed at the Sheraton Denarau villas and it was amazing! This was my first time in Fiji and I am returning next year already to stay again! I was there for a friends wedding and I cannot recommend the Sheraton enough. The villa was a great size and super spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel grounds, facilities and pools were all kept really tidy and clean. Housekeeping services were great everyday day. I am finding it hard to find any faults with my stay. The main reason I will be returning to the Sheraton Fiji and recommending everyone I know to holiday here is the AMAZING staff! I have never felt more welcome and comfortable in a place. Every single staff member I had an encounter with was the most amazing service ever. Everyone was so helpful. Every staff member was so friendly and warm and was what made the holiday for me. I have never experienced such warmth from any other place I have holidayed. Isaac at the wet edge was exceptional with his service. All of the staff at island 619 were incredible and a special mention to Pauliasi who was just exceptional. Every night we had dinner at restaurant 619 we would like for Pauliasi because he made every dining experience the best it could be and made it unforgettable. He went above and beyond for us and made so much effort in getting to know us all and also to everyone who was there for their wedding! Pauliasi is truly an asset to the Sheraton Fiji! I am already planning my next trip and I cannot wait to return in 2023!

Wonderful Wedding and Fantastic Holiday

My friends and I were all guests at the Sheraton Fiji Resort in early September 2022 for our friend's wedding, and had the most fantastic Holiday ever! Half of us stayed in the Resort side and others in the Sheraton Villas; which I can highly recommend for larger groups and families as you are still able to use the full resort facilities. We took up the Bula Bubble package and got fantastic value for money not to mention the wedding was wonderful, the resort facilities and food were exceptional as was the Golf course and Spa. The difference in Fiji though, is the truly personal and considerate staff; every single person greets you when you pass with a huge smile on their face, and I felt welcomed as I never have before in any country around the world. Huge thank you and special mentions to Isaac at the Wet Edge bar and restaurant, Su at Tatavu and Susana at Island 619. The biggest thank you has to go to our new friend Pauliasi (at Island 619); a true Hospitality professional, customer service natural, and an all-round stellar human being. These people made our time so enjoyable and comfortable that we are already planning a return trip next year. Vinaka for everything Sheraton Team!

Amazing Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Sheraton. It was restful, peaceful and adventurous. The warmth and friendliness of the Fijians has to be experienced. Their generosity knows no bounds. We also travelled to South Sea Island for snorkelling and looking at the reef in a semi-submersible. An amazing time.

Great Holiday - look forward to returning

We couldn't wait for this holiday and overall it didn't disappoint. Checkin was the only disappointment as we arrived at 11am to the resort and advised checkin was 3pm - fair enough we went away as instructed and turned back up at 3pm to be told our room was still not ready (not the only people). We asked if we could at least go and have a drink as part of our Bulla Bubble package but were told no we needed a room number. If checkin is advertised at a certain time then rooms should be ready as you are paying from that time. Anyway we didn't let the extra nearly hour of waiting ruin our long awaited holiday. The room was fabulous with a great ocean view. We ate at the buffet each night and it had great variety of food, its fresh and tasty. We ate most of our lunches at Tatavu and again these meals were nice. Staff are the asset to this place and special mention to Pauline from Housekeeping who kept our room well stocked and beautifully presented! with amazing towel art! It was obvious when she had the day off as the room had no water replaced. Mateo, Seruvi and Sikeli were great and so friendly and knowledgeable at the Tatavu and huge thanks to them for excellent service. For people who don't have a food or beverage package you can buy a 5 day unlimited trips Bula Bus pass for FJD30 which takes you to the Marina where there are loads of eateries with nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. If you are flying Fiji Airways there is a check in desk by reception where you drop your bags and get boarding passes. Only issue was we weren't told we had to check in by 5am for morning flights even though ours left at 10am. breakfast however doesn't start till 6.30am. so you have at least 90mins to twiddle your thumbs. Very odd timing. We cant wait to return in Jan 23!
