Best hotel I stayed at in recent years
Falisia is an amazing hotel located in wonderful settings. It is very recent and extremely well maintained, with good size rooms with great amenities and breath taking ocean views. The staff are also what makes this hotel so good, especially Valentina at the front desk or Samer at the bar restaurant who provide top notch customer service. My first stay there but definitely not my last.
A great start to our 10 day vacation
Arrived at Falisia hotel resort and spa, tired from travel and found a friendly staff waiting to get the group settled in our rooms. They were helpful, courteous and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised to see our room/ suite. We had two bedroom suite with all amenities. The included breakfast each morning was fabulous, with ample, delicious food and varied menu. Th front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful and even arranged spa appointments for us at the nearby Portopiccolo Spa. This hotel was an excellent start to our vacation.
Need a new Food and Beverage Manager
We stayed here last year and had a fantastic experience. This year the negative is the food. First, at breakfast to charge 6 EU for a soft boiled egg is ridiculous. The scrambled eggs on the buffet were like rubber and with a green tint. The Prosceco was also missing. And the evening meal options are even worse. There is nothing appetizing on the Cliff menu to order. Room service should be embarrassed to serve an inedible fish entree that is tiny (less than 75 gr) for 35 EU. It’s sad that this puts such a damper on everything else that is so outstanding. The rooms, location, personnel are all really first class. We highly recommend this resort as long as guests come prepared to deal with the food situation.
This place is a joke
Hotel experiences are created by staff not by the walls and tapestries. I travel a lot (about 30% of my life is in hotels) but I have never experience such a horrible treatment as in this hotel. The check in took literally 50 minutes (there was no line - it was 1:30 am) - the hotel was at the time staffed by two evidently incompetent employees. While I agree the rooms are nicely decorated, the breakfast is really underwhelming considering the 'alleged standard of the hotel'. And yes - the so called General Manager - knows absolutely nothing about hospitality and customer service. For some time I even thought that this hotel is really a facade for some other activities as it clearly is not a real hotel that would belong to the 'Luxury Collection'.
