Great stay, lovely property and excellent service

Booked a double and single room for myself, husband and niece, good value! Rooms were lovely with old world decor which we really liked. Less than 15min walk to town which was convenient. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, again decor in the breakfast room was fab, china was cups were a lovely touch. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Would recommend.

I didn’t three very comfortable nights here. It’s a lovely old building full of interesting antiques. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was first class. Beautifully served on white linen tablecloths and lovely gold and white china. Courteous staff. Definitely would go back.

Stayed here for 1 night while traveling for work. To say it was unbelievable is an understatement. It had just been decorated for christmas and it was warm, cosy and welcoming, The staff were excellent, especially at breakfast, with the service level matching the service i have received in some of the 5* hotels around the world. Considering tthe tiny price that i paid for this 1 night stay, I just could not recommend it enough.

I've stayed in countless hotels and b&b's through the years, but can't remember one that had so much class and comfort for such a reasonable price. I chose it because it was close to the rail station, would come back because it's a wonderful place with beautiful rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Wonderful Experience

We stayed just for one night whilst touring and the descriptions of this place hardly do it justice. It is furnished throughout with fantastic period furniture, wonderful furnishings and chandeliers. The breakfast room is all lace tablecloths, cloth napkins, proper china and more chandeliers. The lounge is full of wonderful leather armchairs and more chandeliers. Our room was large with a king sized bed and the bathroom was huge with a black and white tiled floor and period fittings. Breakfast was excellent and served at the table by a waitress in a black and white uniform. We were completely taken by the place so please ignore any nitpicking in other reviews. The B&B is a definite one off and as it says on their flyer provided an Edwardian Experience. To cap it all the charge for bed and breakfast was €68 which I think provides the best value for money you could imagine.
