We got a flat tire just 20min outside Durango and needed to spend the night til we can get a new tire in the morning. Thank goodness for my Honors points, I was able to book a room 5min before we arrived to the hotel. Very nice facility, they took precautions for COVID. Bummed the pool was closed, the kids couldn’t swim. The room was spacious and they are also pet friendly ($75 pet fee). Hot breakfast is available, you just tell them what you want and they will hand you a tray of food. I would recommend this hotel.
Excellent hotel in the middle of the adventures
Makiah was exceptional at making me feel welcome during the pandemic and taking care of my every need. Very nice rooms, clean and close to many restaurants, carwash, gas, downtown and beautiful Lake Nighthorse...
Exceptionally nice hotel with fantastic staff
I have been here for a week in order to stay away from my family while I am off from my job as a critical care nurse. I am simply taking precautions and staying away from my immunosuppressed daughter. I am staying at this hotel for a week, and the staff are so, so nice and so accommodating. The rooms are beautiful, with every amenity provided. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and it is very, very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Made online reservation, reservation accepted for 2 nights, traveled 8 hours. Pulled into hotel at 11:00 pm. Turned away because I didnt have a "governor mandated travel letter". I WISH I was kidding. We were told without out a letter we would not be able to stay. After a brief conversation with the desk clerk, he agreed to allow is a ONE night stay, you know... because if I was positive for the virus nobody would contract it from us on the second night, alone in our room. The manager recieved a phone call, and was absolutely un apologetic, un caring, that we had no place to stay. He said we SHOULD have recieved a phone call... we didn't. He then told me that I COULD indeed stay the one night tonight if I was going to be so upset about it. His logic is that of a 15 year old. I cannot believe he is managing a hotel for this chain.
The manager would not sit in a chair in the room...
Because of fear on becoming sick from touching it... I asked him how many USB ports there were in the room. He said “I assume two?” He was right. There were two in the kitchen, but none near the bed. You had to walk 17 steps to the table from the bed to it if you wanted to get to your phone charging across the room if you are asleep, in the dark...
