Este hotel é maravilhoso. Belo por dentro e por fora.
Suas instalações são modernas, boas e espaçosas.
Os quartos amplos, camas macias e limpas. Banho muito bom.
O café da manhã muito gostoso, farto, variado e requintado.
Os elevadores servem bem aos hóspedes e são dispostos de maneira a facilitar aos hóspedes.
Os andares tem controle digital de entrada gerando mais segurança aos hóspedes. Atendimento primoroso.

I attended a retirement celebration with 12 friends (paying £25.00 per person) for afternoon tea. I rang the hotel in advance and said I had some balloons and bits to drop off where was the best place to park. The girl suggested behind the hotel so that is where my husband dropped me off. I then walked into the hotel with bits and pieces to set up the room and checked again if this was ok to be told absolutely. I took various things out of the car and was there only a matter of no longer than 10 minutes. I am disgusted to receive a fine of £100 for 10 minutes when the hotel told us we could do this. I will not be back!

We originally booked the hotel in March 2020 but after four false starts we got ther this weekend. A very impressive building including the bar and restaurant. Every staff member we encountered was a credit to the establishment.
The room we got was well equipped,clean and comfy. A big walk in shower and large bed made me forget only one packet of biscuits for two guests.
Breakfast was excellent, evening meal good but overpriced but what named restaurant isn’t,t. All in all would definitely stay again.

We had just a one night stay, but would definitely stay again if we were back in Durham.
Arrived late morning, after being welcomed by the receptionist, we were able to complete our paperwork before leaving our case with him, allowing us to go an explore Durham for the afternoon.
On returning in the early evening, we retrieved the case and were given instructions as to how to find our room, which was on floor 1.
We had upgraded to a Cathedral view room, and were so glad we did - we had room 306, which had a huge bed, seating area with large tv, and bathroom with a lovely and very efficient walk-in shower cubicle, and the room had the promised view of the Cathedral. Everything had been done to a very high standard, towels were fluffy and even a Nespresso machine - happy bunnies!!
Because we were packing as much as we could into this flying visit, we opted for an early breakfast ( times were staggered at half-hour intervals, unsure whether this was still due to Covid, or just to ease throughput?)
Impressive venue for Breakfast, but then this whole hotel is impressive, given its history- so glad so much of the original features have been retained.
Only one niggle - that none of the staff were wearing masks - yes, I know it’s no longer mandatory, but some sort of reassurance about your thinking behind that decision- temperature checks, testing requirements for staff, would have been helpful to put our aged minds at rest?
Our visit may have been brief, but we will remember it for a long time - most of all for the helpful welcoming staff, everyone of whom was so friendly- thank you all!!

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. It's close to most of the tourist attractions and not too far from the railway station. The staff I encountered here were nice and overall gave very good service. Also the breakfasts in the mornings were good too. I would have no hesitations staying here again.
