Great caravan but cold

Great caravan, but it was very cold. We couldn’t find the oil filled radiator, even though it was supposed to be in the caravan somewhere. It would have been better if we could have had breakfast in the hotel, but this wasn’t an option. We would have been willing to pay for it

Booked Sat night stop,I asked for heating in room for my wife with health issues,owner said it comes on when below temp,but not sure what,when pressed said 16 degrees I challenged this saying up to customer to decide ,paying 125 for night ,so not cheap Then he shouted ,I want you to leave now,pack your bags,so we had to pack up and leave around 8 pm in dark and raining ,nowhere to go ,my wife 68 with health issues so very poor customer service I've stayed in hotels for over 60 years ,never had such disregard for customers Made mistake not reading reviews before going DONT Go ,20 terrible reviews can't all be wrong you decide Ps I think owner was having bad day ,but if continues like this ,will be closed in 2 years

Absolutely love this place, it's our new home from home, third time we have stayed and was fabulous as usual. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable, clean and homely. The location is perfect, a short stroll down to the beach and seconds from the railway station. Views from the 3 rooms we have stayed in are beautiful, fields, mountains and the sea in the distance. Breakfast is of excellent quality, cereal, fruit, patisserie items, yogurt along with a cooked English is served a little earlier than we would choose (from 8 till 9) that said it motivates us to get an early start and not miss a minute of our time away! Walks from the hotel are amazing, set off in any direction and you will not be disappointed. Onsite parking is included in your stay and there are well maintained gardens to sit and relax in. Feel it necessary to mention previous negative reviews I have read... please ignore them as this is a fantastic place to stay!!

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Booked a double and got a twin.Dirty linen screwed up in the corner of the landing thats probably what the awful smell was. There was so much hair in the bathroom it was everywhere on the hand soap, floor, towel rail in fact the only thing that smelt fresh and looked clean was the towels which is why I decided to sleep on one and have the other as a blanket. If I hadn't already paid I definitely would not of stayed, personally I think thats why you pay up front with this one if you didn't I am not sure they would have any guests.Outraged at is wasn't even cheap!

Everything has been done to make this a most pleasant place to stay. A spacious bedroom with four poster bed,very well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was generous and lovely with a wide range of cereals,juice,pastries and traditional cooked breakfast. Other reviews mention an unpleasant smell. I could detect this vaguely on the stairs but certainly not in the room or breakfast area. Don't let this put you off. This is a really lovely place to stay.
