Happy Stay - A Winner

Well worth the drive here; had to escape a horrible hotel in the cities. I drove an hour and half to end the night here. It was worth it. In fact, I stayed again the next week. Very clean, close to highway and food. The Hampton was quiet and fairly new. Breakfast is the standard of all Hamptons. I drove to nearby restaurants; and a McDonalds is next door. I know that I will be back. The rates seemed low for the hotel too. Thank you Hilton.

Clean, Comfy, Solid Place to Stay

The room was a typical hotel room. Pretty clean. It's been converted to the new Hampton look with the open concept closet which is a downgrade in my opinion. Hope you don't need to hang a suit or anything. Breakfast was typical continental fare, but was lacking the typical egg option (scrambled or mini omelette). About what you'd expect for the price. Walking distance to a nice trail by the river, which is a plus.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very nice and clean rooms. Perfect location. I can't wait to return. By far the best hotel in Eau Claire! Loved the pool and fitness center. Breakfast was fantastic. I travel for work all the time and this is the place to stay!

Not up to Hampton Inn expectations.

My husband tried to reach out with our concerns via e-mail with little satisfactory response.. As a Director of Nursing for most of my long career, I was amazed by the reaction to our concerns. Through my many interactions of caring for people,I know that there are times that expectations are not always met. I would offer an apology that their expectations were not met and really listen to their concerns. Instead we were told staff would be talked to and most things were things that nothing could be done about. No Apology! True outside noise is not something one can control. Maybe look at some ways to soundproof. We understand that.However,soap,toilet paper,towels,washcloths,coffee for the coffee maker,cups and drinking glasses should be in the rooms. It is true I got them after going for them.They did get them for me and I thanked them. The BR floor was dirty. I wiped up a small amount of water on the floor upon first arriving, and my paper toweling was black.Friendliness of staff is a problem, over all from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. A smile would go a very long way. The pool was great for our grandson. He enjoyed it very much!The food was good except for the meat. It was cold and not flavorable.The room was very small and closet ridiculous. We both have some joint issues. The toilets are super low. We had no room to pull out the one chair and sit in it.The bedding was clean and fresh. The beds comfortable. This was not the Hampton experience that we are accustomed to. We have traveled little in the past few years with the pandemic. I was looking forward to our stay. So disappoined!!

Nice room

Room was nice but small, worst size closet I have every seen, long but only 12" think. Good breakfast except the meat was horrid. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and the pool was a very nice temperature. Exercise room was ok but had no free weights just cardio machines.
