Very Nice Other than Another Non-existent Hot Breakfast
Avaliou em 7 de Outubro de 2021
I wish that hotels would just list that their hot breakfast is unavailable at this time and perhaps even lower the rates. Coffee and juice was all there was. Other than that the hotel met my needs. It’s clean, quiet, the staff is nice and the room of ample size. There is only one handicap parking space and the lot is hilly.

We stayed in the Quality Inn & Suites in Edgewood for 9 nights. Because of CoVid, we experienced the following issues:
• No Breakfast
• No Pool
• No Gym
• Very infrequent housekeeping (2 times during our 9 night visit)
Their website made no mention of these omitted services, nor were they mentioned on our reservation confirmation. When we arrived at the building, we saw a sign announcing that there would be no breakfast, pool or gym. When we checked in, we were not told about the limited room service. After two days with no room service, my wife called the front desk and were told that room service would occur twice a week. She explained that we needed fresh towels and additional soap, shampoo, and coffee. The man at the front desk said we would get those supplies at 8am the following morning. She explained that we had a very early morning and that would be too late. He said we could come to the front desk for supplies. We went downstairs with our dirty towels and ice bucket. As I went to fill the ice bucket, my wife went to the front desk with the towels. She said the man there continued to look down at his computer screen and ignored her until she said “Hello, aren’t you the man I just talked to on the phone?” Only then did he look up. He went to a back room and got us a couple bath towels. She had to ask for additional hand towels and wash cloths. She had to specifically ask about the other supplies. He went to a closet and found soap, then went to another area and found shampoo. Still no coffee. After asking again, we got two servings of coffee. No part of this interaction was hospitable.
Edgewood is not the best area in Harford County, and we knew that ahead of time. What we didn’t expect was that the hotel had at least two exterior doors that did not lock. Each had a sign saying a room key was required to open the door, but the locks were broken. Anyone could have entered the halls of the hotel. One morning when we were leaving our room for the day, we went downstairs and there were three Harford County deputies standing in the hall outside of a guest room. That’s not something we ever expected to see in a hotel!
The hotel had at least 3 ice makers. Two on the first floor were working, the one on the second floor was not. An “Out of Order” sign was on that machine. It remained that way throughout our stay.
The temperatures were very high during our visit. The hallways were warm and some days smelled of mildew. On other days they smelled like air freshener. There was black mold on the exterior of the building near the back door closest to our room. The air conditioning in our room worked fine.
Of the hotels in the area, it was the least expensive. The room seemed to be clean and the bed was comfortable. When we did get room service, it was good. The internet connection was fine throughout our stay.
The same brothers who own this hotel also own the LaQuinta and the Hampton Inn adjacent to this one. We were told this by the manager of the LaQuinta when we went there to inquire if they had any better services than the Quality Inn. They did not, so we stayed in our room at the Quality Inn for the remainder of our trip. The Hampton Inn sign at the street continued to advertise the breakfast, pool, and gym services. It was the kind of sign that could easily have been updated, but it was not.
Fine stop along the route

Pleasantly surprised with the accommodations here. We got more than we were expecting. Staff was helpful, room comfortable, breakfast more than adequate. Appreciated that we did not have to travel far off the highway yet felt separated from the bustle.

We stay in this hotel very often, it is very convenient by the highway 95. Hotel staffs are very helpful and nice. The gym is quite and clean, the indoor swimming pool is heated and available all year around, biggest plus.
Worst hotel ever!

paid for 2 nights Jacuzzi tub didn't work TV didn't work H DMI port didn't work When asked to be moved or switch to another Room I was told "I should have asked for a working hdmi tv" Jacuzzi tub didn't work again we asked for a room with our proper accommodations. We were then told "no that there is nothing wrong with the room" and that they would have me removed from the hotel if I kept calling the front desk. Front desk manager at the time TONY DESAI
refused to sign us out of the hotel in their database, even once we cleaned out room and return their keys. We believe this was to hinder any Hope's of us getting our refund due to time stamping.
I than had to return back to the hotel after already checking out AND LEAVING WITH NO REFUND to get a paper stating that we checked out since Tony purposely did not put a check out time
We talked to corporate and they told us that I was responsible for the room if anything happened even though I was already checked out of the room. These are not only horrible business practices to your well paying clients and customers. To ensure our experience Tony (the front desk manager at Edgewood) than gave me the finger behind my fiance's back as we were leaving the building. Alex Potel is the GM if something is not done about it ( it being Tony & his employment) I will press my own civic charges by monday at the belair district court as a civil case. This behavior is inexcusable & I intend to not let it go.
