Overcharged, Rude, false Information on Website

I booked a room through the hotels website and on their website it states there is a $50 pet fee. When I checked in the employee named Kitty overcharged me $75 for the pet fee. When I questioned her on it she said they had updated the website months ago to $75. When I showed her that their website actually says $50 she refused to correct it saying that it is supposed to be $75 and if I had a problem with it then I would need to speak with Alex the manager in the morning. She was being very snide and dismissive during our interaction. I am a long time Hilton Honors member and I am very disappointed with this hotel. It's not just the money. It is them being unwilling to correct their error when it was obviously an error on their part and then being rude on top of that. If you can't depend on what their website states then I would avoid them completely and I will in the future. I added a screenshot of their website where their pet fee is clearly only $50.

Not a typical Hampton Inn

This property was not up to normal Hampton standards. The shower enclosure had mold or mildew in the caulk joints. The light above the bathroom mirror did not work. Most importantly, the room door deadbolt was almost impossible to lock due to a misalignment of the lock and door frame.

On our drive from the Midwest to California we decided to stop for a nights rest. We found this true gem. Clean, quiet and the price comparable to others in the area. Staff was eager to engage in conversation and the breakfast area was kept clean, yet your typical breakfast food.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the common rooms and the breakfast… were were very pleased with the stuff also. Highly recommended. We couldn’t be more pleased with our pick. Such a warm and nice Hampton hotel in El Reno, Oklahoma

Quiet rooms just off the highway. Nearby food options were great too. Easy buffet breakfast with hot & cold selections. No need to worry about highway traffic noise - the walls seemed to silence the sound.
