Battle of bed and heater. They were both losers

The hotel was clean and rooms were recently renovated. We stayed at room 328. The room was nice. However, between the bed and the heater there was a battle going on who was the loudest. The heater won the prize. The bed creaked and made noise when you moved. It is our opinion that it was a second hand mattress and should have been replaced s long time ago. Not to anyones standards

A Nice One Night Visit

I stopped at this Fairfield location while traveling from Ohio to Tennessee. Overall, it was a good visit. The location looked like it was either new or remodeled and was in excellent condition. Nice and clean. No issues with the room. Staff was nice and pleasant and very helpful as to directions. My only complaint was the limited breakfast. Only available for 2 hours (6:30-8:30) which cut it pretty tight. Also, I did not see any non-dairy creamer for the coffee. Pretty limited selection as to fresh fruit. Area was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stop at this location again.

We arrived early and was able to check in. Staff really nice and helpful with dinner tips. Room clean but no microwave in the room. Walking distance to several restaurants lots of choices for all ages. Pool area very small but was fine as we were the only ones there at the time.

Thin walls, heard people all night. No daily housekeeping. Manager was fantastic, evening desk clerk seemed bothered to have to help us. Nice breakfast. Clean room and public areas. Not quite up to the standards I've experienced at other Fairfields.

I normally expect Marriott to be more upscale but this property was only average. The excellent front desk staff were the only reasons this stay salvaged an average rating. Overflowing trash cans at any time of the day is poor optics when you are trying to portray an upscale facility. The lack of attention to detail by the cleaning staff IRT guest rooms e.g. need to sweep/mop around toilets after each guest stay, cobwebs between bed frames and carpet. I had noted missing and non-functional bed light fixtures to the front desk but nothing was done. These are why I rated the facility only average. On a good note, there a plenty places to eat within walking distance.
