Very comfortable stay

We stayed 2 nights in this friendly and comfortable hotel just next to LL Bean and the nice bike/walking path. Our room was very comfortable and big, everything worked well, and we found the hotel to be very convenient for our stay visiting family in the area. There is plenty of parking, and we could walk to the LL Bean, and to the shopping center across the street (which has a very good Asian restaurant), as well as the lovely hiking trail. The managers were very nice and helpful, and allowed us to have a bike dropped off and later picked up by my sister for use during our stay. Breakfast was generous and with a very good selection of hot and cold things, juices, coffee, teas, etc. We also LOVED the adorable dog (Bearnaise mountain dog) who was sometimes strolling around the lobby. 😊 We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

We stayed for 5 nights. The room was spotless. The staff was cordial. The beds as nd pillows were comfortable. The AC was quiet. Coffee and hot water were available day and night. You could make waffles at breakfast. The rest was premade eggs, a meat, cereal and breads. Everything at breakfast was clean and fresh. The bathroom sink was outside the toilet/shower area. I wish the toilet was ADA height, but that was my only concern during our stay.

It was extraordinary in cleanliness and very welcoming hotel staff. It was nearly 30 min away from Acadia I will definitely stay again for our next visit to Acadia N P. they are helpful with early checking as well. I recommend other travelers to visit them for good stay

Was looking for a place that did cost over $300 night (2022) as we were only going to be at the place to sleep and head out the next day. This hotel met that criteria. The other criteria was within a 30 min drive to MDI / Bar Harbor. This hotel met this criteria. The other criteria was the hotel had to offer a free breakfast of some sort. We are not picky eaters, and breakfast does not need to be the highlight of the day. This is your usual brand hotel breakfast. Prefab, prepackaged, with some custom cooked selections. We know what we are getting. This hotel met this criteria. The next criteria was the hotel needed to be clean, and appeared to be well maintained and kept in working order. This hotel met this criteria. I wish there was not a staffing shortage so that during the 2nd night we could have had some tidying up of the room- take away towels and bring in fresh ones, but I understand the strand many hotels are having with a shortage of staff, so we made do with making our own beds, and organizing the soiled towels as best we could. The next criteria is the hotel staff cares or at a min gives the appearance that they care. This hotel met this criteria. On check-in day we got a good recommendation for a place for dinner that kept us from being frustrated with parking and searching for a place in busy downtown bar harbor. With all of the above, we were very pleased with our stay.

Exceeded every expectation

Needed a dog friendly place for a night and this place was perfect in every aspect . Wade greeted me at check in and so did GingerSnap the resident pup in charge . I can not stress enough how kind pleasant and friendly Wade was . The place was immaculate and i mean everywhere. My room (200) was practically new . I had coffee and some fruit for breakfast (complimentary) . I highly recommend this place and will absolutely return. Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday season . See you soon !!
