In addition to Home2suites, I’ve stayed at Laquinta and Best Western in Eugene. Home2suites was by far the best in terms of cleanliness and hospitality. I found it extremely expensive for what it was though. Think of it as a nice courtyard with a kitchenette (microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, and some basic cook and dish ware). While mostly clean, the room was fairly basic. On the cleanliness front, there was some mold on the caulking in the bathroom. I’m always grossed out by that. My only other complaint about the room is that there were no USB plugs for charging. First time in forever I’ve been in a hotel room without that. Pool was nice and the pool area was clean. The breakfast was quite basic, but fine. Coffee was good. In all, it was good - but I’m really unhappy about the cost. Crazy expensive. I guess that’s what you have to pay for a hotel room in Eugene that doesn’t make you want to run away.
Wow, better than I expected

We were there for Sweet Adelines International Regional competition. The room had a full-size refrigerator and a dishwasher. Plenty of drawers and shelves for our clothes. The breakfast had a great selection. The service was great. will definitely stay there again if I every stay over in Eugene.

Great place to be. Clean and safety environment. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is a +, very convenient . The laundry room has free machines use for all guests. Housekeeping dept. always cleaning all common areas The facility has security guards services that will make you feel secured. This place has created a family and business environment!!!! I will recommend this Hotel to any of my coworkers, family and friends.
Great location and amenities when staying in Eugene!

My son and I had to head to Eugene for a weekend soccer tournament and booked this hotel based on awesome location and the pool. Also love free parking downtown. It was a great experience (Claudia at front desk was super sweet and helpful). Rooms are nice and clean and basic but all you need and the pool was a hit with my son! He also loved the variety of breakfast items! We had one small issue and management resolved it above and beyond my expectations. All in all, an awesome option for lodging - we will definitely return on future trips to Eugene!
Accused of 'fraudulent' activity

Our family reserved five rooms over six months ago for one night in September, 2022. Today, we received a call from hotel 'staff' informing us that our reservations have been cancelled. Apparently, we had made fraudulent reservations with a ticket agent who gave us room rates normally offered only to university employees. We were accused of trying to cheat the hotel by a couple of Hilton employees who seriously must have failed the Hilton course in Customer Relations. They were rude, accusatory, unhelpful, and most of all, a black eye on the Hilton brand and name. Five families were involved in this cancelled reservation mess. All five families were Hilton Honors card holders. All five families travel frequently. All five families cut their cards up today. Congratulations, Hilton management. You just lost thousands of dollars in business because two tag teaming flunkies in Eugene, Oregon wouldn't have a clue about customer relations. P.S.
