Loud Construction Noise
We couldn't rest in our room during the day due to the EXTREMELY loud construction noises. This was horrible as we were at a hospital with terminally ill relative at all hours and had no place to rest during the day. We had no idea that the hotel was under construction when the reservation was made. Otherwise, the place was fine and the people were nice.
Nice staff, good amenities, outdated rooms
I would not stay here again simply because the room's were outdated and AC system was too loud and cycled throughout night. I woke up exhausted each day from being woken up hourly by the unit. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovation now, so I hope the rooms, appliances, and AC unit are improved.
Reliable stay
Clean and convenient accommodations. Quick and efficient check in and check out. Decent complimentary breakfast. Good location with lots to see and do in the area. Comfortable beds. No complaints at all. Limited parking available.
Great Place to Stay.
I chose this location because I was within walking distance to my intended destination. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the room was very clean. The area is very quiet and the variety of local restaurants was very appealing.
I Wasn't Impressed
The hotel was clean but felt dated and old. Overall the ambiance of the hotel felt like it had been converted from some sort of discount roadside property long ago. I could get over those things since the place was clean but oh my the AC unit was horrible. The room was either too hot or too cold. When the unit came on it was so loud that it woke me up every single time. Needless to say I got very little sleep which was not a good thing when I needed to be up early the next morning. At least the breakfast was decent - standard Hampton Inn. I hope the renovation mentioned in other reviews improves some of the issues I've mentioned here. Until then I can't justify staying here again.
