An unusual experience

A fascinating stay at a fascinating place. The haveli experience (with modern amenities) was totally unexpected. The tranquil atmosphere, old world air, coupled withe fantastic food and courteous and attentive staff was worthe trip. A small library will give something to read to those who want to while away their time. A heritage walk highlights the virtually unknown world of the havelis. This is more of a stay at home than a homestay.

Vedaaranya Hawelli is like an Oasis in Dessert. Tastefully decorated Hawelli with wonderful hospitality. We stayed there for one night and had unforgettable experience a peaceful place which takes you back 19th century with colourful hawellis all around,we were served with traditional Rajasthani food which was authentic and nothing to do with Rajasthani food served in restaurants in Delhi. I am thankful to Mrs Shruti Poddar who restored this Hawelli and Mrs Anita for her hospitality. Thanks Harpreet Singh

A lovely Heritage property in Rajasthan with excellent connectivity from Delhi ( 6hr drive) Loved the stay and hospitality and amazing food .lots of heritage property to visit and some amazing shopping of furniture & antiques. Must visit

The Vedaaranya Haveli tucked away in Ramgarh Shekhawati is an excellent getaway from both Delhi and Jaipur. The Haveli offers the best of old world charm and modern amenities, comfortable and tastefully done up rooms, excellent cuisine and warm and caring staff. In and around the Haveli in Ramgarh are a host of attractions - the Heritage Square where one can see Havelis with beautiful artwork; an ancient Ved temple which houses the Samved; ancient Chattris which have gorgeous artwork - a must-do while here. There are old talaab’s and open spaces, different species of birds and animals and Rajathan’s rustic charm. So whether you want a put your feet up and go nowhere holiday or want to explore Rajasthan’s history, culture and art, a trip here offers it all. Best time to visit: July to April Best way to get here: by air to Jaipur and then by road (about 3 hours) to Ramgarh Or drive down from Delhi to Ramgarh (6 hours by road) and just 5 hours from Gurgaon Or take the train to Churu and drive down to Ramgarh
