Holiday and wedding.

Avaliou em 3 de outubro de 2022

Have had an amazing holiday at club Tuana. Our friend got married over here as well and staff where amazing. Please also look out for Sahat in the 24h bar. He kept the older kids entertained and is just a wonderful person. Thank you club Tuana for a holiday I’ll never forget.

Don’t do it !!

Avaliou em 2 de outubro de 2022

Arrived at the hotel it looked impressive got to room it was not ! Dated dark and in need of refurbishment! Not enough light in bathroom to do your makeup just really dark ! Food cold , repetitive and cheap! Went to the Italian where the entertainment team were actually doubling up serving you ! Starter already on all the tables not covered open to flys ! No choice of anything just a set menu of 1 thing absolutely revoltingly! Sun beds !!! Don’t even think your getting one on f your up after 8am ! Entertainment awful! There is absolutely nothing outside the hotel! Nothing to walk to no restaurant or bars absolutely nothing! Never been on holiday and couldn’t wait to get home but this place is the exception! Not a 5 star I’d struggle to give it 3 ! Spend your money elsewhere definitely the worst hotel, food and room we have ever had it Turkey! Wouldn’t return if it was free ! Beach towels thread bear if you can actually get one as several times they had none !

Not five star

Avaliou em 2 de outubro de 2022

Definitely not a five star, three at most. Food repetitive, never hot. The Al a carte ( Italian) is a joke, no choice, all guests served food at same time. The reserving of sun beds is problem around the pool and beach. Bar staff rude, more interested in using their mobile phones. Rooms dated, need refurbishment, bathroom cracked tiles and badly finished.

paradise for a week

Avaliou em 29 de setembro de 2022

just returned 28/9/2022, just spent a week with 10 of us, an absolutely fantastic complex with plenty to do, just plain relaxing or any of the daytime activities in the pool, sun lounging by the beach, boat trips, paragliding, or a walk around there beautiful grounds that are immaculately kept, palm trees, fruit trees exotic plants etc. and the bar is open 24hrs of the day. we had days out at the local market in fethiye (this can be a little overwhelming and pushy), then we had a trip to hisaronu (£16 in a taxi), this little town was amazing if you are into a bit of shopping and nightlife, beautiful food, we ate at white man, that is at the bottom end of the shopping area, great food and service, will definitely be going back, fantastic holiday

Lovely hotel and setting lets itself down

Avaliou em 24 de setembro de 2022

Just back from a great 2 week stay at Club Tuana, it's a lovely hotel and a nice setting (maybe the beach could be better) with a great spa. Our room was comfortable, a problem we had with the shower head was fixed almost immediately by the maintenance staff. Water from the shower drained very slowly and we were left standing in water by the end of the shower, the shower door runners would have benefited from a good clean as well. There is plenty of shade and space to sit in the bars in the daytime although shaded sunbeds were in short supply during our first week as the hotel was quite busy. The Poseidon bar was a nice place to sit in the evening, away from the noise of the ampitheatre. The evening entertainment was ok if a bit repetitive. It was a weekly cycle with a few variations so most acts were on twice during our 2 week stay. There were 4 nights of dance troupes each week doing basically the same thing with different themes in different costumes each week. The animation team are friendly and organise archery, rifle shooting, water polo and volley ball. There are a couple of table tennis tables, a place to play Boules and mini-golf for you to play yourself, perhaps the animation team could organise these activities for groups as well. There is at least one aquafit session in the pool per day however the girl who leads it mostly, Anastasia, is super fit and you need to be fit to keep up with her routine. In my experience holiday aquafit sessions are usually made up of a mixture of older and younger people but these sessions were too aggressive for "less-fit" people and consequently most of the people in the pool for the sessions were younger, fitter people. But unfortunately the hotel lets itself down in a few ways. Staff friendliness is, at best, variable. There is little interaction from the restaurant staff and few smiles which comes across as unfriendly, the bar staff frequently ignore you when you are waiting to be served, especially in the pool bar and service is non-existent at the "swin-up"pool bar, they are more interested in their mobile phones, most of them are very young. It seems the only way to get a drink at the "swim-up" pool bar is to get out of the water, go to the other side of the pool bar and get back in to the water which isn't the way swim-up bars are supposed to work. The times for breakfast, lunch and dinner are fine and there is food available at other times too but everywhere else I have stayed on all-inclusive holidays if it says dinner from 7pm to 9.30pm that means you can go into the restaurant at 9.25pm and still have time to eat a 3 course dinner. However in this hotel the staff are already clearing away and reducing choice because 9.30pm means all the food is gone, the meal timeslots are not set with guests in mind they are set with staff in mind so if you want a late dinner or late lunch allow enough time to get and eat your food before 9.30pm or 2pm respectively. This is the same procedure at all advertised food timeslots, breakfast, lunch and dinner in all places where food is available so get in early! As our pickup for return to the airport was later in the day and normal checkout is at 12noon I asked for a late checkout, I was told a flat NO by a young man on reception and when I asked why he told me the hotel was full. At the beginning of our holiday it was difficult to find a sun bed anywhere but by the end of our holiday each one of us (4 people) could have had as many sun beds as we wanted so the hotel was definitely not full. This, coupled with the abrupt, unfriendly way I was told NO made me see red and I asked to speak to the manager and was told he/she was too busy to talk to me. How can it be that a member of staff is "too busy" to talk to a paying guest! This incensed me but fortunately another member of staff behind the reception desk stepped in, a friendly lady, and said yes of course I could have a late checkout, another example of variable customer service from the staff. I paid hansomely for the late checkout (£50 for 4 hours), I have never had to pay so much for a late checkout before in the many hotels I have stayed in all over the world, perhaps the hotel could consider reserving a room or two which guests could book for 1 hour after checkout, for a small fee, closer to airport pickup time rather than paying a high price to keep a room on for 4 hours after all, you just need a shower, etc. before leaving. The entire customer-facing staff, and hence the guests & hotel reputation, would benefit from a wide-ranging customer service review and a lot of training. It should be noted that most of the consierge staff, cleaning staff and the gardening staff that we saw around the grounds were far more friendly and often smiled and said good morning, they were generally older whilst the customer-facing staff in the bars and restaurants were far less experienced, hence the need for training.
