We stayed here thinking it would be nice. The room ok, no complaints on the room. But the parking lot was not plowed. It was pretty bad getting out with our luggage in the snow. Also we didn’t even get a email thanking us for our stay or asking how are stay was. We Won’t be back.

I arrived at this property in August for a stay. I have stayed at this hotel maybe 20 times over the years having grown up there and now traveling back for visits. This time however was for business. I was checked in by a very pleasant young lady at the front desk. She was very nice and professional. When I left the front desk and started to the elevators, I noticed that the lobby floor was not the cleanest but really not a worry. When I got to the elevators they were dirty. The outside of the elevator looked like it had not been wiped down for the greasy finger prints of construction workers in months. The inside of the elevator was worse. Dirty is the best way to describe this. When I got off the elevator, the floor smelled musty and damp. I continued to the room thinking it is only going to get better but boy was I wrong. The room smelled like mildew. My feet were sticking to the carpet (humidity). The room was disgusting, the desk was falling off the wall. I turned around and left. I went to the front desk and told them I am leaving and told them why. The girl at the front desk told me she was very sorry and would take care of everything. I did not even receive a receipt. I am now looking at my expense report and they charged my card anyway. I just called the hotel and they stated that they charged me a cancellation fee which was actually higher than my bill would have been. I would certainly understand being charged cancellation fee had I actually cancelled. I walked out because their housekeeping did not do their jobs. Find another hotel, they just built a nice Hyatt Place down the road. Stay there.

I grew up in this area and was a bit shocked to see the place now. I understand covid has taken its toll on everything. However, there is just no excuse for outdoor filth we encountered coming and going from this location. I guess once things get old we just don't bother with them.

The lobby area is very nice. We requested an Executive King room which had a sofa and a little extra room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed-fridge, big flat screen tv and coffee maker. Paris and Maria at the front desk were wonderful in welcoming us and providing information. Paris and Maria represent excellence in this brand

Leaves Much To Be Desired

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant was not as it was advertised. Even when you call directly, the recording talks about fresh cut steaks and there aren't even steaks on the menu. We checked in Friday night so that I could leave for an early flight. First we had to walk through cigarette and cigar smoke in order to enter the building. They had a Corvette club staying and they were allowing them to smoke right outside the front door. The entire hotel and room is in desperate need of updating. There were 2X4s under each of the beds. The carpet had not been vacuumed because we found plastic clothing tags on the floor. We also found a dirty wash rag hung over the shower rod. I mentioned these things at check-out and was told that he wasn't surprised because good help is really hard to find. He then handed my the wrong receipt and I now have the personal information of someone in the Trend Settas Corvette Club. BEWARE! Upon check-in they told me that they charged an additional $100 deposit for incidentals. So I authorized the room rate and the additional $100 to be applied on my card for a total of $259.83. After looking at my credit card statement, I have found a charge for $259.83 and a 2nd charge for $159.83. So I have now been charged $419.66 for a room that isn't even worth $159.83. So I called to see why my credit card had the 2 charges and was told that the $100.00 would automatically fall off. The gentleman could not understand that I was charged twice for the room plus the $100. He even sent me the authorization history thinking that it would help me to understand the charges and it also didn't show where they had refunded the $100, and in fact showed the same 2 charges that my credit card shows. He assures me that I will see a difference in 2-3 days. However, the hotel still tied up $419.66 of my funds when I only authorized them to tie up $259.83. In the credit card business, this is considered fraud.
