Hotel Vasari

The Hotel Vasari is born from the restructuring of the ancient monastery of S.Antonio di Vienne, built in the second half of 16th century, that belonged to the so called "Friars fo the fire". These friars had the Tau as their symbol, represented in the coat-of-arms of the order with which the pertainig rooms to it were marked. A witness is still found in the arch of access to the inner courtyard, now used as parking. After the abolition of the order, occurred in 1775, the entire property of the friars was divided and sold.
