Very poor customer service!! no refund due to me leaving after I went to the cold pool and nasty rooms

It took 6 rooms to find a room that didn’t smell awful, I went there just to swim with two kids , I called in advance they said it was heated , and it was NOT warm by any means …. Then I decided to leave and ask for a refund the lady said tomorrow call and ask she don’t know how to do that …. So I call today and he said he’d give me a 50% refund , I said why I didn’t sleep there nor swim there ? That’s awful he said because I threatened to write a bad review or a lawyer then he now isn’t going to give me any refund… that’s okay I’m great full the Lord will be in my side and so will my credit card company… guys unless you don’t care what you breathe in or how dirty the place is and the fact that they won’t refund if it isn’t up to your standards…. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a hooker …

My wife and I was looking and found this hotel and thought it would be nice to go to for our little anniversary stay. Upon arrival I noticed how ran down the facility looked and thought we’d still try it since we had already paid for our room. We checked in shortly after 4:00 and they told us where our room was. We walked into our room and it had a funky smell that I couldn’t quite figure out what it was. I asked my wife if she was ok and she said she thought she could handle it. After a hour and a half my wife became very sick. I started trying to figure out the smell more and that’s when I walked through and started finding dead bug lying around in different spots, especially the bathroom. I spent the next hour trying make my wife feel better. She took a bath in the tub and tried to eat something and nothing was helping. We decided to take her and have her checked out and let them know we wouldn’t be staying. We dirtied 2 towels and took out our trash. As I was getting our stuff together I started noticing toenail clippings in the floor around the bed, which made me sick knowing the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. We checked out just before 7:00. I got my wife checked out and my suspicion was confirmed. The smell was bug spray and that’s what made her sick. The guy on duty wasn’t the nicest and said I’d need to call on Monday cause he wasn’t in on the weekend. I did as I was told after speaking with legal counsel. I called and he said their was no smell in the room, no dead bugs and no toenails. They want my pictures and offered me 1/2 of my money back. I called my legal counsel before excepting the refund or sending the pictures. I was told not to send pictures and except the refund offered, so I called back and told them I’d except the refund. After legal counsel it appears that once they are sent the paperwork I will be refunded my full amount and my wife’s medical bill will be covered. It probably would’ve been much easier to excepted that they didn’t clean the room, sprayed bug spray and had given me my full refund for their nasty room and facilities. My advice is to trust the reviews and DO NOT think about staying here. I will share photos later, but at this time I’m told not to unless otherwise advised. If they choose to pretend nothing was wrong with the room, then you’ll have to prove them wrong with legal representation as I was forced to! All they had to do is tell the truth and give me back my full refund.

Heart Spa Room

Horrible experience …Here are a few of our issues…broken tile around the heart shaped tub, water leaking from the wall by the tube & shower curtain rod not even attached to the wall. We told the front desk and they said,”Come back when the other shift comes in tomorrow morning, they might be able to help you”.

The room was terrible, looks like it hasn't had a penny invested since the 90s. It was dirty, missing paint on the walls, tiles loose in the shower, one of the beds were broken, the microwave was nasty, the door lock looked like someone had tried to break down the door at some point, curtain rail was bout to fall, furniture was dirty and busted, I could continue. We decided due to the quality and cleanliness that we were not going to stay the night so we checked out. The manager informed us the following day the a 50% refund was all his general manager would allow, so I called later to speak to the GM only to find that the guy I spoke with was the GM...

I reserved the room using a discount site and it worked out great. I didn't use the pool, but went and looked at it and the area was sorta tropical. The room was spacious and had a microfridge, hair drier, wifi and cable. A large selection, the only thing was fox news was muted. The bed was comfortable, although it squeaked a little bit when I moved, no problem. No breakfast, but coffee in the room. I'd stay there again.
