New Year’s Eve celebration
WE-KO-PA I do love the new layout of the casino everything is very open and not cluttered. The buffet design is very nice, the servers was friendly. Amy the server is such a beautiful person she made myself and my husband feel very welcome. Beautiful job WE-KO-PA
Wonderful New facilitiy!
This was one of our Stay-cation that wasn't far from home. The new facility is really nice and clean, and cleaned regularly. Temp checks and everything. very polite employees, Especially Brent from Ember and Matt from the Sports bar. They made our stay %1000 percent better with a personal touch. Ember - Wonderful woof and fine dining. Price may be high but it is so worth it. Sports bar - make sure to get that fried chicken!! it was so good. and the funnel cake fries and that chocolate sauce was so good. Get it, you wont be disappointed. Rooms - Very clean and tidy when we got there. Nothing really to complain about. Overall a wonderful place to go. We usually go to Talking Stick but now we wont go back unless We-ko-pa is fully booked. Thank you again for a wonderful anniversary experience that we wont forget.
Lovely stay
I had a great time all around. Everything was perfect! The staff, room, dining and casino were all fully enjoyable! This is my second stay here and will be coming back. Everything you could want they have to offer!
Another staycation please
My husband and I love staying here. Its local yet feels like its remote. It's so quiet and peaceful here then when we are feeling like we want some excitement the casino is just next door. The new casino is beautiful too. The staff is the best, the rooms are very clean, the amenities are great and beds are so comfortable sometimes it's hard to leave Haha. And if you're lucky you'll get a chance to see the wild horses roaming around.
The good and the bad Stayed 11/28/2020
The Good: The casino resort is gorgeous and clean. Rooms were comfortable. The casino was clean with updated games, The steakhouse was wonderful. The Bad: Check in is 4:00 PM and we new that going in, I checked if rooms were still available on there web site in route. I was just curios if it was busy and sold out. To my surprise the price was a lot lower then what we paid the week before. We arrived at 12:30 and was just going to hang out at the pool for a few hours until check in. We did however ask the receptionist if we could check in. There was 2 separate rooms we booked. They wanted to charge us $30 to check in before 2:00 pm. I decided to wait the extra time but my friend decided to take the room and charge early. To me it should no you can't check in or yes the room is ready. When in the lobby I asked about the cheaper price and I asked if we could get money back or a resort credit. They said no and there was nothing they could do. Also note there is a $29 resort fee. I'm not sure why??? When in the lobby they did not take our temperature or anything for covid. I decide to save the $30 early check in fee and hung out at the pool for a bit. Once I came in to check in they then had everything working and check my temperature for covid. I checked in and I received a nice covid care package with mask, hand sanitizer and wipes. The other party that checked in early was not offered that. So I was left with a sour taste in my mouth with not taking care of us when the room price was cheaper, $30 early check in charge, inconsistent covid measures, inconsistent care packages and a $29 resort fee that I can't figure out why. Book with caution,,,,
