Logo de cara a recepcionista foi super antipática. Parecia estar nos fazendo um favor ao fazer checkin. O hotel é velho e a limpeza não é o forte. Corredores com cheiro forte de cigarro. E pra completar no sábado teve uma festa no lobby, mas 4 andares foram reservados para a tal festa. Não houve barulho, mas o pessoal circulando era bem estranho. Não era um ambiente familiar. Recomendo que procure outro hotel.

Our connecting flight at Charlotte Douglass International was cancelled so AA put us up here overnight. There were teenagers shouting at each other in reception. The room was cold, the window would not shut, every surface was sticky, holes in every wall, smelled funky, coffee spills in atrium were still there the next day. Sheets were worn and torn. The towel rail had been ripped off the wall. Our traveling companion reported his room was infested with fleas and he had to move to an equally disgusting ‘upgraded’ room which appeared to have feces smeared on one wall… some upgrade! The staff were kids who looked completely bored and you could tell they were having just as much fun as their disgruntled guests.

My worst hotel experience

This place is too run-down and too dirty to be called a hotel. Other guests have described in details how horrible the conditions are so I will not repeat them here. I'm just going to post a couple of pictures here and let you decide if you want to stay here.

We stopped in unannounced on a roadtrip. The hotel was actually not bad, the beds were nice and the nights stay was a lot cheaper than expected for not booking in advance. There is not a breakfast which is fine, the room was clean and we would stay again if in the area. There were a lot of people hanging around late at night, not sure if they were guests or just where the town is. Was not too scary but questionable at that time of night (or morning).

Not clean, old, smoky smelling, Sheriff's Department kicked a door in on the 8th Floor, yelling, screaming, doors slamming all through the night, loud AC unit which piped in more horrible smoke smell when it came on,....horrible hotel...if you can even call it that, no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes, toilet seat broken...and the best...no lock on the sliding glass door to the balcony!
