This place was like stepping back into the 1980s or 90s. I had a physical key to open the door to my room, if I turned it the wrong way it locked the deadbolt and I couldn't open the door...the key just spun and spun...I had to get the front desk clerk to help so I had to tote my stuff back down from an upper floor...I got it right after she showed me the exact way to do it. I thought everything was clean. There was a full kitchen, just old but everything seemed to work. There was a large bathroom, again old but functional. The tv in the living room was quite old, the tv in bedroom was new. The mattress was ok. I think the rooms were quite large, it was just very old fashioned and needed updated. The price was very reasonable. The location was great - close to shopping, beaches. It was pretty far to the freeway, but it was still not a terrible location. Right next door to grocery store and places to eat were close by.

Traveling to this part of the state to attend a girls' softball tournament in Cape Coral. Cape Coral room rates are outrageous, so I booked at this location because it was "only" $150.00 per night. Horrible! The first room I received smelled of smoke; the living area's AC did not work, the room had a dehumidifier which made so much noise I could not hear the TV if I had stayed in that room. The refrigerator's handle was broken off, half the light bulbs in the lamps did not work and there were only two very skinny towels. You have to ask for ice at the front desk and she gave it to us in a garbage bag. I went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. All of the above was the same except the AC worked in the 2nd room. On top of that the parking lot was so dark and dreary I felt unsafe returning at night from the tournament. The elevator and hallways were disgusting. Front desk clerks were very "cold", not friendly. The one agreed the parking lot was dark. The other one said, "the hotel is old; it's not what you expect and it's not for everyone. Wow, was she right!

This is literally one of the filthiest hotels I’ve ever seen. The bathroom is filthy and everything is so old. The toilet moves every time you sit down to use it. The Furniture is filthy. Everything is stained or just broken. I can not wait to leave this place. The refrigerator is covered with rust and the handle was broken off. The bedspread is filthy. I don’t think they have any staff for cleaning. Monday morning, the day we checked out, we saw a girl mopping the lobby. Never saw room attendants.

Disgusting!

Stayed 3 nights. Everything was disgusting from the lobby, elevator, hallways and especially the room! Key hardly opened the door! Turned the heat on the first night and the fire alarm went off and smelled up the room. Next morning I asked for another room and was told nothing was available! They would refund only the the next 2 nights, not the first night, as I had already paid the 3 nights in advance. Unfortunately we couldn't get another room anywhere in town. My family has bug bites on them! Sheets were dirty with hairs and stains! Towels were stained and gross! Remotes were full of food and dirt! Shower walls had hair. Toilet was loud and ran all night. I called a day after we left and asked to speak to the owner, never got a call back. I called again the next day and told the manger on duty and I was told there's nothing they can do. No refunds or apologies! Very unpleasant experience!

One night visit to Ft Myers

Needed a one night stay in Ft Myer, prices are crazy high! This hotel was reasonably priced and in a safe area Staff is friendly, hotel is very out dated, but somewhat clean. Struggled with the key in the lock. The suite had a very bad, offensive odor, wasn’t sure if it was coming from the range in the kitchen area, but was strongest there . Smell was not as bad in bedroom area. Blasted the fan and it still lingered -had trouble sleeping. Coffee in lobby was not good. Starbucks is nearby and a Dunkin’ Donuts also. Needless to say, Will not be back
