Really 3 1/2 stars. First large hotel as you come into town from South and heading north. Very convenient to the main road and there is a restaurant on size. Watch timing if you're going to arrive late at hotel since not a lot of choice in that case. Good size, comfortable room (had 2 queen beds) with plenty of space to move. No fridge or microwave in the room but there is also a liquor store and convenience store (separate spaces) on hotel property. Plenty of lights in parking area.

Excellent Highway Hotel

Relatively new hotel with reasonably priced huge rooms, very clean, well appointed and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The hotel has an incredible restaurant. Staff in both facilities were pleasant and helpful. The only negative is that their wifi is unsecured. I have stayed in several Fort Nelson hotels and this is the best by far.

Very Solid Choice

Stayed on the way up with a buddy on a motorcycle trip. So clean, efficient and comfy that I stayed again on the way back. Compared to most of the other places I’ve stayed on the trip, this was by far the single best value. Feels like a solid Marriott type property at a very reasonable price.

Excellent and helpful staff, after a reservation mix-up. Was offered a good rate for adjoining rooms with accessible features. Coffee 24/7 in the lobby. A hot breakfast Monday thru Friday, and continental breakfast on weekends included. The bar staff was friendly and efficient, offering corkage when their wine list was lacking. We were even allowed to bring our own wine glasses! Rooms are clean, with housekeeping as needed. The beds were very comfortable.

The staff was accommodating. The room was clean and modern. The mattress was just right. This isn’t on par with hotels like Hilton Hampton Inn (etc) but we stayed in the Super 8 just down the road, and preferred Woodlands. We didn’t eat at their restaurant but it was popular.
