First class stay, highly recommended

A beautiful hotel in a central location, just 5 min walk from the town. Lovely decor, our room had high end fixtures and handmade soaps.
Trevor and the staff cod not do enough for us, making this a first class experience.
Good choice for breakfast, all freshly cooked.

Our second B&B on our trip and just as great as our first stop in Oban. Could not fault Glentower, a warm welcome from Trevor (who let us check in early as we arrived on an early train). Our room was spacious and very clean with a big comfy bed and separate seating area, great for admiring the views of the loch. Breakfast was served in the dining room with tables well spaced and a chosen time for breakfast each day to stagger the arrivals. Very good choice of cereals, fruit, porridge, full scottish breakfast, smoked salmon etc etc. Excellent service from both ladies doing the breakfast service
Location is excellent only 10 mins easy walk from town, 15 mins to the train station (as with all B&Bs in Fort William - bear in mind that there is a busy road around the loch, however we didn't find this a problem and there was minimal road noise at night)
Conquered Ben Nevis

Me and my wife had a three night stop at the glen tower Lower Observatory.
We travelled to Fort William to climb Ben Nevis. This B&B was ideally located, in beautiful surroundings facing Lock linnhe.
Owners Trevor & Catriona were very welcoming and the hotel was lovely. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable after a day up and down Ben Nevis.
Breakfast was good and enjoyable. A variety of food to choose from. Margo was also very welcoming whilst serving breakfast, had a good chat and a laugh, lovely person.
Me and my wife highly recommend this B&B for anyone considering Ben Nevis. This is a great place to relax after the climb and descent.
Fort William has several pubs and restaurants for evening meals out. The train station is very close with the Jacobs Steam.
Good stay with lovely and accommodating people.
Ideal location to use as a base for this part of Scotland .

Lovely room with a view of the loch. Comfortable and roomy. Altough there are reading lamps over the bed, it would have been nice to have a lamp in the sitting area. Great view from the sitting area though. There were choices for breakfast and the full Scottish was VERY tasty. There seems to be a parking spot for each room, however, we were travelling by train. The train station was a level 15/20 minute walk, but the taxi was about £4. Definitely close enough to walk to town. Nice to stay in somewhere that has a bit of history too. Mostly the staff were very pleasant. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Fort William.
