Awful, dirty, smelly, poorly maintained & hot

This place needs a thorough clean - at least the last person's pubic hairs removed from the bathroom floor would have been good. The couch was so filthy & ripped, we did not dare sit on it. It is ripped & scraggly - in addition to the many suspicous stains & what look like spilled drinks or similar. The walls & floors are marked/damaged & grotty. The 2 towels provided for 2 women for 3 days were thin & tatty, and a lovely shade of grey with black grease marks. The bed was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, and the sheets also grey-ish & threadbare. There's no air-conditioning in the bedroom & the ceiling fan looked & sounded like it was about to go flying off the ceiling - genuinely. The noise also kept us awake. The room had one window that's too low sitting to leave open and the outside area smelled frightful (the wall of stench when we exited the lift was vile). The shower was filthy. The toilet flusher does not work properly/gets jammed, so the toilet made noises through the night (bizarre!). The outside area/balcony was so dirty, we could not sit outside to get some fresh air or enjoy the wonderful dim carpark view. It's a revolting, smelly, dirty & depressing place. Never again.

Staggering Incompetence

It's amazing how an entire trip can be ruined by one stupid incompetent answer to a very simple question 'how do I checkout early'. If staff don't understand how the property operates and management want to save money by not having a 24 hour reception for the love of god COMMUNICATE. The warning letter (not a welcome letter) outlines all the rules of being a customer with Atrio, although you'll spend more time dealing with Miro next door. You will need a key and fob to use lifts and access the carpark, and if your leaving before reception opens do NOT leave your key in the room as instructed, make sure you get your car out and park and block the driveway or park illegally on the street and THEN you can leave your key in the room and use a lift to ground to exit the building, or put it in the managers letterbox as I found out later. If you do follow this advice you wont be sorting through your rubbish at 6am (dutifully removed from the room as per threats from the warning letter) to find the after house number on where to leave your key. The welcome letter DOES NOT explain this, reception staff DO NOT know this and the manager on the phone later saying it was a communication error and I should have known what to do needs to find new empoyment. GET SOME TRAINING. Rooms were good quality and location is good if not noisy. If I never stay again though I'll be okay. I also travel several nights a week and this would have been a chance to gain a lot of business for the property, sadly I will keep trying new places.

Lovely clean rooms. Modern facilities that are very well maintained . Great for a family. Very central position. Short walk to James st and Hudson’s brewery. Staff very prompt with any enquires. Easy access with lift. A very enjoyable and relaxing place

We enjoyed the facility and location. Rooms were clean and plenty of space. Access to local cafes and coffee was good and easy driving access. We used all bedrooms and it was a quiet spot to stay. All good

Staff friendly, informative, and helpful. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. Oven, back splash, cupboards need attention, as does the bathroom, particularly the toilet. One Teatowell is insufficient for a weeks stay. Cooking oil, Kitchen Roll, and a box of tissues would be a benefit. Miriam and Barry
