Cleanest hotel I have seen in years!
My family of five had the opportunity to stay at this aLoft on our way from Chicago to Orlando. Our top priority is a COVID safe location and this hotel checked all the boxes. From pre-arrival communication with Barrett to arrange connecting rooms for us, to confirming our late arrival time with Justin and arrival with Tristen; this staff is top notch! If you are looking for a clean, COVID safe location for any length of time, please know the aLoft Franklin should be your place.
Shopping
The location of this hotel is right next to shopping and restaurants. He hotel is comfortable and clean. Our room on the sixth floor was quiet. The only complaint would be an aging bathroom which needed a mildew cleaning and a toilet that seemed like it was not going to flush. Thankfully, it did manage to flush each time. Breakfast was grab and go.
Birthday Weekend
This was our second stay at Aloft Franklin and we were just as impressed the second time as we were the first time! The Aloft was spotless and even smelled clean as soon as we entered the lobby. The staff was professional and friendly. Rooms were spotless, and beds were comfortable. My only gripe was that there wasn't a bartender on duty so we were only able to order wine and beer. Also be aware that if you stay in a room close to the elevator you will hear the elevators going up and down all night/day. We aren't light sleepers, so this did not bother us! We will definitely stay again!
First, perhaps last Aloft
We are loyal users of Marriott properties, have never used an Aloft until last night. The hotel is striving for a hip, trendy, minimalistic environment, but misses the mark for us. The typical luggage cart is replaced with an “airport” type cart complete with a brake that makes it hard to maneuver. The doors open out instead of in that made it hard to enter with a cart. And no hooks on the cart for items in a hanging bag. The room, for 2, very cramped, no closet space. No place to hang a towel by the sink or wash cloth. May rethink an Aloft again.
Best Hotel Customer Experience Ever
We stayed at this hotel for a 12U hockey tournament. The staff was exceptionally understanding, patient, helpful, kind, and even fun. One individual in particular, Tristin Smith, supported me and my son during a crisis and went way above and beyond in doing so. I will always be grateful for his care and compassion. The hotel has somewhat limited parking and does not offer a free continental breakfast like many in this chain's space do. However, the amenities (pool, workout room, lobby area) are solid and the staff is so exceptional they more than make up for these minor shortcomings. If you are traveling with a youth sports team or group, this hotel is a good choice.
