In my 35 year career as a road warrior, I have seldom enjoyed the kind of personalized customer service at a modest hotel that I got from Lindy at the front desk. She is a gem. There was a bit of confusion over my reservation. Lindy did battle with her computer on my behalf, and Lindy won!

My first and last time in one night

The room was at the second level. It was very noisy. In first place the toilet made a periodic flush by itself every 20 minutes approximatively and we didn’t know why we could hear the sound of the trucks so loudly. When we got up we had our answer, we could see outside under the door! The last thing, no breakfast supposed du to the COVID. Sorry, I don’t believe it….

This is the only hotel we have stayed in since September that still would not serve breakfast because of "Covid 19 restrictions". To charge $85US for a night's stay in a 2 star hotel seems pretty steep to me. Even a lunch bag with a pastry, fruit, juice, and yogurt would have been simple. First time staying at a Baymont, probably the last.

Was in the area traveling through and decided to just stop for the night. we went to another local hotel and the rates was substantial more than we wanted to pay since it was already late, and we would just be sleeping and checking out early. Another local hotel only had suites left, again that was more than wanted to pay. Decided to take a chance here and it was worth the $ we paid. the sweet lady on duty did everything above and beyond to make check in go smooth, even recommended restaurants local at a late hour. After eating and going to our room it was nice to open the door to no foul odors (you know how it is to open a hotel room and a stale, smoke, pet smell hit you in the face), then upon further inspecting the room it was very nice - clean carpets, crisp white sheets, updated counter and bath fixtures, clean carpet, beds & pillows comfortable and the shower was awesome! There was no continental breakfast but told there was a coffee/juice bar served in the A.M. (we did not take advantage of the service). The area was quiet and never felt worried about our safety. I would stay here again

So nice to find a clean, quiet hotel for a reasonable price. The beds are great as is the TV and wifi and the shower is amazing. Check in and out are a breeze. No breakfast right now due to civil precautions but several restaurants nearby.
