Hotel muito bem localizado perto do pier principal e de frente para praia, oferece quarto bem amplo, banheiro confortável com roupas de banho e cama sempre limpas e de boa qualidade. Quarto silencioso e café da manhã dentro dos padrões americanos.

So o nome , uma tristeza que a rede esteja tão abandonada . O wi fi que foi o referencial para reserva pois teríamos que trabalhar antes do voo não estava funcionando durante o fim de semana e desculpa era que o escritório estava fechado ‼Então desde sexta não havia wi fi nem uma alternativa como disponibilizar cartoes para uso ‼️ Vendem uma coisa e nao cumprem ! Um café da manhã de 9 dólares sem nada de especial ! E um atendimento terrivel ‼️O pessoal nao se interessa parece que estao um grande favor estarem ali ‼️Pedi posicao sobre o wifi e nao deram minima ‼️Agora mais do que nunca prefiro um days inn, best western e outros mais baratos mas que cumprem o que vendem ‼️ Nunca fiquei sem Wi-Fi nessas cadeias ‼️

Customer Service Needs Improvement

My wife and I stayed here prior to a cruise. The hotel was under construction so most of the amenities were not being offered. Location is good for seeing Galveston. Rooms were average at best for cleanliness and comfort. The TV remote was missing from my room and the phone system would not allow a call to the desk. After 4 trips to the front desk to get one, I gave up trying with no offer from the staff to make it right. This is the worst hotel in the Bonvoy brand that we have stayed at. With the construction the hotel had a broken glass door that was not secured and was a OSHA violation.

Just no politically correct words to describe this horrible experience. Never again. It looked more like an old furniture storage unit than a hotel room. The bed was so close to the desk that using the desk was impossible to use and access to the bed difficult on one side with the narrow space. The couch had a big tear. One window had no covering to keep the light out. Shower was from the 1920 made for 4ft people. Do you still really expect people to hold the handshower with one hand while taking a shower. Drainage of sink and tub was "challenging". Ceiling in front of our room was gone and covered (poorly) with plastic. Hallways were dirty with stuff on the floor everywhere. Need I go on?

Never again! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. The front desk staff was terrible and unapologetic about the room conditions (chipped paint ALL the walls, tile filthy, carpet dingy, cart rusted out, the soap from the previous guest was still in the shower), soap oozes on its own). It never ceases to amaze me how someone could put stained sheets on a bed and thinks that’s ok. I didn’t show that picture; too disgusting to post. Needless to say, I had them change the sheets, I ended my stay and find a different hotel. Unfortunately, none of the #Marriott’s (my fav brand) didn’t have a better property on that island.
