Cheguei muito tarde e cansado para uma única noite no hotel. Apesar de ser madrugada, fui muito bem recebido com atendimento agil. O Quarto era confortavel e o banheiro tinha ótimo chuveiro. Como a estadia foi muito rápida e cheia de contratempos não tive como avaliar todos os pontos do hotel.

An easy hotel to reach from the M5 with a welcoming face at the reception desk. Parking was easy and check in quick. The room (212 on the 1st floor) was clean and tidy. The bathroom configuration was interesting – the door not only shuts off the whole bathroom but also allows someone to take a shower whilst another uses the toilet in privacy! Food and drink were available during the evening from a bacon sandwich/tea to a burger and chips/wine. Breakfast was well laid out and self-service with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the walls of the rooms are rather thin and we could hear snoring from another room and a baby crying for feeding at 5:45am for 45 minutes was not conducive to a happy ending to a night’s sleep. Also the mattress sagged in the middle allow us to meet in the middle more often than was practical! Although our room was not facing the main A38 road we still had a road outside that had a constant flow of traffic throughout the night. The windows are double-glazed but the vent at the top of one window allowed this noise to enter the room unchecked! For some reason Gloucester birds love to sing through the night – another noise that came through the vent!! Perhaps not a 10 out of 10 but the faults were not the fault of the staff or, for the most part, the hotel itself! Would we stay there again – only if the other Holiday Inn in Gloucester is not available.

We loved our three night stay here, room was clean and equipped with anything you might need. Very quiet even at night and temperature easily controlled. The breakfast was the highlight as it offered plenty of choice for us all and everything was tasty especially the coffee! Friendly staff and ready to help, thank you!

Excellent stay. Breaking the journey from Yorkshire to Cornwall up Room very clean, comfy bed and pillows. Friendly staff, hot, well cooked breakfast Plenty of parking Only slight downside is very small bathroom and maybe a little more choice on breakfast but acknowledging this is an Express I found it excellent value for money

Housekeeping terrible

I don't know how many times we have to go over this but house keeping is diabollical, came in from work and I knew someone had been in room but I think for a lie down, bed unmade towels thrown in bloody ridiculous service, front of house and maintenance are 100% but house keeping need to be replaced
