Esperava mais deste hotel. Tem uma localização excelente, os quartos são muito confortáveis, mas o serviço e a comida não estão de acordo com um hotel desta categoria. Jantámos 1 noite no restaurante do hotel e tinha muita variedade de pratos, mas a qualidade em si não achamos nada de especial.
Not seriously impressed
I don’t ever post bad reviews, but I expected much more from this brand. The rooms were beautiful, clean and very modern. Service at reception was equally lovely. Room service charged me $7 to deliver a pizza. I didn’t realise that until I saw my account. Cheeky! The rooms were noisy. I could hear the neighbours showering when I was trying to sleep. The the rooms didn’t block out any noises in the corridors. So at 6am my sleep would be broken by banging doors, people talking etc. On my last morning I walked into the Terraces restaurant At 8:15 and asked if I could book my family of four in for breakfast. I was told there wasn’t any space,which I understood and accepted. As I walked away, the guy behind me was given a table for his family without a booking. I went back and asked the manager and was given a blunt : “ I made an executive decision.” Very disappointing service. I won’t be staying here again.
Recently stayed for my birthday, exceptional service especially from Nadine at reservations who went above and beyond to ensure I was spoilt on my big day. Beautiful location, rooms in pristine Condition, delicious food. Very enjoyable experience all round
The ultimate Gold Coast holiday
We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Mirage in June 2020 during the changing COVID environment. Having stayed before in simpler times, I was really impressed in how the hotel provided its 5 star service and breathtaking experience whilst maintaining social distancing and high cleanliness standards. From the moment we checked in, Hiroko on reception made us feel so welcomed and valued as Marriott Bonvoy members, which really made us smile given our long day of travelling from rural Queensland to the coast. Shortly after Chris the manager on duty helped us with our bags and made sure we had settled into our room. All the associates were very welcoming and would check in with us throughout our stay to see if they could make it even better. The restaurant Terraces is a must, the menu has something for everyone and the food is exquisite! Every aspect of this hotels services, rooms and team make it the very best hotel/resort to stay at in the Gold Coast, and I highly recommend anyone travelling to the Gold Coast to stay at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort.
AMAZING SERVICE - GREAT CHECK IN EXPERIENCE
I had an amazing time at the Sheraton - the staff are attentive as always and the check in experience was smooth and welcoming. Staff at Terraces are of the highest quality. I would have liked a Japanese option to the breakfast list but that's ok - the curry option was delicious as well.
