Back in the UK for 8 days and stayed four nights at this lovely quaint guest house. It has everything I needed, kitchen facilities, fridge, freezer, wifi, flatscreen tv and comfy bed, en suite. Friendly service from on site staff, all you could wish for, plus a local pub a two minute walk away.

We had an ongoing booking for a large group for a few months at Parkside and it was ideal. Everything was always clean and tidy, great location and the hosts were always lovely and understanding (especially Zoe!) There is absolutely nothing to fault - beautiful venue with everything you need either within the guest house or nearby. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing accommodation, comfortable bed, clean and well furnished throughout. Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and breakfast biscuits in the room too. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Shared self service kitchen for breakfast with outdoor seating if the weather is nice. Good choice of cereals, bread for toast, yogurts, teas, coffees. Also a games room with dart board and full size snooker table.

Thankyou so much Parkside, we will most definitely back. Very warm welcome, rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nothing too much trouble and everything you need is catered for, my Hubble and son so enjoyed having a game of snooker in your games room....thankyou again. Jim, Christine and James Barlow.

My brother and I travelled and stayed as part of a cycle ride. Welcome and stay throughout was superb, there was even a booking at the local pub as i had requested.would highly recommend. Derek/Keith from Gateshead
